Robbie Cadee
Robert Cadee (born 27 August 1950) is an Australian former professional basketball player and coach. Biography Cadee played for the Australia men's national basketball team during the 1970s and competed for Australia at the 1976 Olympic Games held in Montreal. He played in the National Basketball League for the St. Kilda Saints and Bankstown Bruins. Cadee won an NBL championship with the Saints in 1979. He served as a player-coach of the Bruins during the 1983 season and won the NBL Coach of the Year Award. After his playing career ended, Cadee went on to become a coach, leading the Opals from 1986 to 1992. The Australian women's national basketball team is nicknamed the Opals, after the brightly coloured gemstone common to the country. Basketball at the 1984 Summer Olympics was the eleventh appearance of the sport of basketball as an official Olympic medal event. It took place at The Forum in Inglewood, California, United States from July 29 to August 10. The United States won the gold medal in both events, with the women's team's victory marking their first-ever gold medal. Due to the boycott, the Soviet Union and Hungary withdrew from the tournament. The Sydney Kings are an Australian men's professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). The team is based in Sydney, New South Wales. Jason Cadee
Jason Robert Cadee (born 15 April 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League (NBL). He is also the team captain for the Bullets. Early life and career Cadee was born and raised in the Sydney suburb of Greenacre. He attended Westfields Sports High School in the nearby suburb of Fairfield West, where he earned Hall of Fame status for basketball. He grew up playing for the Bankstown Bruins junior program. In 2008, Cadee made his debut in the Waratah League for the Bruins. That same year, he was named the NSW Male Athlete and Basketball Player of the Year.
