The Sydney Kings are an Australian men's professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (Australia), National Basketball League (NBL). The team is based in Sydney, New South Wales, and play their home games at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Olympic Park. The Kings were formed from a merger between the Bankstown Bruins, West Sydney Westars and the Sydney Supersonics in October 1987. The Kings have won five NBL championships in 2002–03 NBL season, 2003, 2003–04 NBL season, 2004, 2004–05 NBL season, 2005, 2021–22 NBL season, 2022 and 2022–23 NBL season, 2023. Violet Crumble
Violet Crumble is an Australian chocolate bar. The bar is a crumbly honeycomb toffee centre coated in a layer of compound chocolate. It was first made by Hoadley's Chocolates in South Melbourne around the year 1913; and is currently made in Adelaide, South Australia by Robern Menz after a period of ownership by Nestlé. The South East Melbourne Magic was an Australian basketball team based in Melbourne. The Magic competed in the National Basketball League (NBL) between 1992 and 1998, and played their home games at Rod Laver Arena. The Magic were established in 1992 following the amalgamation of the Eastside Spectres and Southern Melbourne Saints. In their seven seasons, the Magic contested four NBL Grand Finals and won two championships, their first coming in their debut season and their second coming in 1996. In basketball, a rebound, sometimes colloquially referred to as a board, is a statistic awarded to a player who retrieves the ball after a missed field goal or free throw. Rebounds in basketball are a routine part in the game; if a shot is successfully made possession of the ball will change, otherwise the rebound allows the defensive team to take possession. Rebounds are also given to a player who tips in a missed shot on their team's offensive end. A rebound can be grabbed by either an offensive player or a defensive player. The All-NBL Team is an annual National Basketball League (Australia), National Basketball League (NBL) honour bestowed on the best players in the league following every NBL season. Dwayne McClain
Dwayne Eddie McClain (born February 7, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the second round (27th pick overall) of the 1985 NBA draft. He played in the NBA for one season and was drafted from Villanova University. As a member of the Pacers during the 1985–86 season, he averaged 3.5 points in 45 games played. McClain was a member of Villanova's National Championship team in 1985. He was the highest scorer which helped to secure the “Cinderella Upset” over Georgetown Hoyas. McClain played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for the Savannah Spirits, New Haven Skyhawks, Rockford Lightning and La Crosse Catbirds from 1987 to 1991. The Brisbane Bullets are an Australian professional men's basketball team in the National Basketball League (NBL) based in Brisbane, Queensland. They competed from 1979 to 2008, and returned to the league in 2016. Canberra Cannons
The Canberra Cannons are a defunct professional men's basketball team that competed in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL). They went into financial administration in 2003 and were relocated to Newcastle, where they became the Hunter Pirates. After this venture also folded the team was relocated to Singapore and played as the Singapore Slingers for the 2006–07 season. Melbourne United is an Australian professional basketball team based in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria.
