Rob May
Rob May (born 15 February 1969, in London) is a musician, songwriter and record producer. May co-founded and toured with Beehive, who won a MOBO Best Gospel Act award in 1997 for their self-produced album, ''Brand New Day''. He has played keyboards for a number of acts including Honeyz, Misteeq, 911, Louise and Lulu. Production and mix credits include Alex Parks, Moya Brennan, RyanDan, Will Martin and Connie Talbot. He produced Connie Talbot’s ‘Over The Rainbow’, which achieved Gold status in the UK as well as Platinum Sales in Asia. The single ‘Three Little Birds’ reached number 1 in the US Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart. Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African Americans in the mid-20th century. It de-emphasizes melody and chord progressions and focuses on a strong rhythmic groove of a bassline played by an electric bassist and a drum part played by a percussionist, often at slower tempos than other popular music. Funk typically consists of a complex percussive groove with rhythm instruments playing interlocking grooves that create a "hypnotic" and "danceable" feel. Lorraine (TV Programme)
''Lorraine'' is a British breakfast television programme that is broadcast on ITV. Launched on 6 September 2010, it is presented by Lorraine Kelly and broadcasts live every weekday from 9:00am to 10:00am. The programme features a variety of showbiz, fashion, health, food, celebrity interviews and competitions. The programme's run-time crosses the 9.25am ending of the official ITV Breakfast slot (6am-9.25am), which is wholly owned by ITV plc. This is why viewers in most of Scotland see ITV branding surrounding the first 25 minutes of the show, and STV branding for the remainder of the time slot. Champions Hockey League
The Champions Hockey League is a European first-level ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams across Europe. Background The IIHF launched a tournament with the same name in 2008 to coincide with the IIHF's 100th anniversary. The tournament's only season was played between 8 October 2008 and 28 January 2009, and was won by the ZSC Lions who got to play in the 2009 Victoria Cup game as a result. The IIHF planned to launch another season but was ultimately forced to cancel the tournament due to problems finding sponsors during the concurrent global economic crisis and failure to agree on a tournament format. Basketball Champions League
The Basketball Champions League (BCL) is an annual professional basketball competition for European clubs, organised by FIBA. It is the top-level competition organised by FIBA Europe, therefore the champion participates in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.
