Ringlet is the southernmost town of the Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia, and the first town of Cameron Highlands on the road from Tapah. It is a hub of Malaysia's vegetable farming and international flower farming sector. It is a small hill resort located at an altitude of 1135 meters above sea level (3723 feet) which contains some other small villages such as Bertam Valley, Boh and Habu Height. The Cameron Highlands ( ms, Tanah Tinggi Cameron, , ta, கேமரன் மலை) is a district in Pahang, Malaysia, occupying an area of . To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan; to the west, it shares part of its border with Perak. Situated at the northwestern tip of Pahang, Cameron Highlands is approximately east from Ipoh, roughly north from Kuala Lumpur or about from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. Tapah is a town and the capital of Batang Padang District, Perak, Malaysia. Name The name "Tapah" is said to be originated from the name of a freshwater fish, ''"Ikan Tapah"''. The scientific name of the fish is '' Wallago leeri''. The locals said that the name has been taken from the Perak Malay word which means "no worry".
