Reza Norouzi
Reza Norouzi ( fa, رضا نوروزی, born 21 September 1982) is a retired Iranian footballer. Club career Early years Norouzi started his career with Bargh Shiraz in Iran Pro League. Steel Azin Norouzi joined Steel Azin in 2008 after spending the previous year at Bargh Shiraz. Foolad He was transferred to Foolad on 2010 and became top goal scorer of 2010–11 season. Naft Tehran In October 2012, Norouzi signed with Naft Tehran effective from January 2013. He scored his first goal for Naft in his debut match against Malavan. In his second season with the club he finished the season with 11 goals, one of the most in the league. Persepolis After becoming the Pro League's third place with Naft Tehran that was the club's best season in its history, Norouzi had offers from many teams, however, he joined Persepolis in the summer of 2014 and signed a one-year contract until end of 2014–15 season. Ahvaz
Ahvaz ( fa, اهواز, Ahvâz ) is a city in the southwest of Iran and the capital of Khuzestan province. Ahvaz's population is about 1,300,000 and its built-up area with the nearby town of Sheybani is home to 1,136,989 inhabitants. The 2012–13 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 30th season of Iran's Football League and 12th as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2011–12 Persian Gulf Cup and three new teams promoted from the 2011–12 Azadegan League: Paykan as champions, Aluminium Hormozgan and Gahar Zagros. Naft Tehran
Naft Tehran Football Club ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال نفت تهران, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Nuft Teheran'') is an Iranian football club based in Tehran, Iran. They competed in the Persian Gulf Pro League. They were owned by the National Iranian Oil Company previously. Naft Tehran was founded in 1950 and played in the Takhti Stadium until 2018. Naft has finished third place in the Persian Gulf Pro League three times and has also won the Hazfi Cup. In 2015, for the first time in the club's history, Naft played in the AFC Champions League. They defeated Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia in the round of 16 to advance to the quarter–finals where they were eliminated by Al-Ahli Dubai. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2 (Iran), League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League.
