Rex Terp
Rex Terp (born 13 March 1970) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for St. George and Illawarra Steelers. He played his football in the backline, as a centre and winger. Playing career Terp, who comes from the New South Wales town of Wauchope, spent a season in England playing for Leeds in 1989/90, before embarking on a career in the NSWRL.Alan Whiticker/Glen Hudson: Encyclopedia of Rugby League Players, 1995. Wauchope, New South Wales
Wauchope () is a town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is within the boundaries of the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council area. Wauchope is inland on the Hastings River and the Oxley Highway west of Port Macquarie. The town is north of the state capital Sydney. Wauchope is the location of Timbertown, a popular heritage theme park inspired by the logging industry that formed the basis for Wauchope's early economy and prosperity. The 1995 ARL premiership was the 88th season of professional rugby league football in Australia, and the first to be run by the Australian Rugby League following the hand-over of the Premiership's administration by the New South Wales Rugby League. For the first time since the 1988 NSWRL season, the Premiership expanded again, with the addition of two new clubs from Queensland; North Queensland, based in Townsville, and South Queensland, based in Brisbane. The Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Football Club Ltd., commonly referred to as the Broncos, is an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Brisbane, Queensland. ''Big League'' was the official magazine of the National Rugby League. Its predecessor, ''The Rugby League News'', was first published in 1920; in 1974 it was rebranded as ''Big League''. In 2020, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and the initial suspension of the 2020 NRL season, production of the magazine was suspended and has not resumed; leaving the game without an official program. The magazine served as a game-day program, containing team line-ups, stats and feature stories. It went on sale every Thursday at newsagents and exclusively at all active NRL grounds on weekends.
