Reshnagri
Reshnagri is a village located in Shopian district of Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir. Reshnagri is the combination of two Sanskrit words "Resh" (priest) and "nagri" (land) which means the land of priests. Its headquarters are located in Shopian which is 10 km away from the village. Reshnagri is situated on the banks of Veshaw River which comes under south-western part of Kashmir Valley. The village is divided into five parts, Darul Rehmat, Darul Barkaat, Darul Salaam, Darul Anwaar, Darul Fazl. Shopian District
Shopian district (), known as Shupyan () in Kashmiri, is a hill district with its administrative division in Shopian town, located in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, since it is situated on the historical road commonly known as Mughal Road, most of its area is occupied by forests. Shopian district comes under the Pir Panjal Range which makes it very cold in winter. After partition of India, it was a tehsil of Pulwama district. In March, 2007, the district status was granted by the Government of India. The economy of the district depends on agriculture, particularly apple growing. Veshaw River
The Veshaw River is a major tributary to the River Jhelum located in Kulgam District in the Kashmir Valley in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It originates in the Pir Panjal Range and forms a waterfall at Aharbal. Course The river originates from a oligotrophic lake Kausarnag located at an elevation of 3,962.4 metres above sea level in District Kulgam. The river forms a water fall in Aharbal and passes through Nehama,Adigen, Laisoo, Gudder, Brazloo, Ashmuji, Kelam, Nawapora, Qaimoh and joins with river Jehlum at Sangam. Sanskrit
