Renault España Sociedad Anónima ( or ), also known by its acronym RESA (), is one of the largest manufacturing subsidiaries of Renault. The Spain-based company has facilities in Valladolid, Palencia and Sevilla, with most administrative offices in Madrid. Renault sells its cars locally through the subsidiary RECSA. The company emerged from the local automaker FASA, which had assembled Renault cars since 1953. Pierre Lefaucheux
Pierre-André Lefaucheux (30 June 1898 – 11 February 1955) was a leading French industrialist and recipient of the Order of Liberation, awarded to heroes of France's Liberation during World War II. As the first chairman of Renault during the critical years after World War II, Lefaucheux died in an automobile accident in 1955 at age 56 — while directing the development of the forthcoming Renault Dauphine. Lefaucheux was the subject of the 2009 biography, ''Patron de Renault, Pierre Lefaucheux (1944-1955)'' by Cyrille Sardais. Renault Kadjar
The Renault Kadjar is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Renault, developed with the second generation Nissan Qashqai/Rogue Sport and revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, with sales starting in April 2015 in Europe, and in 2016 in China. The Renault Mégane () is a small family car produced by the French car manufacturer Renault for model year 1996, and was the successor to the Renault 19. The Mégane has been offered in three- and five-door hatchback, saloon, coupé, convertible and estate bodystyles at various points in its lifetime, and having been through four generations is now in its fifth incarnation. The Renault Twizy is a two-seat electric microcar designed and marketed by Renault. It is classified in Europe as either a light or heavy quadricycle depending on the output power, which is either for the 45 model or for the 80 model, both names reflecting its top speed in km/h. Originally manufactured in Valladolid, Spain, production was moved to Busan in South Korea in March 2019 to meet increased demand in Asia. The Twizy debuted as a concept car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and was designed by Françoise Leboinne and Luciano Bove. The Renault Captur (pronounced as "capture") is a series of subcompact crossover SUVs manufactured by the French automaker Renault. The production version of the first one, based on the B platform, made its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and started to be marketed in France during April 2013.
