Itaguaí
Itaguaí () is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro and contains several important iron ore loading ports of the world including Ilha Guaiba. Its population was 134,819 in 2020 and its area is 273 km2. The city was founded in 1688 and lies midway between Rio de Janeiro and Angra dos Reis. 2017 Campeonato Brasiliense
The 2017 Campeonato Brasiliense was the 42nd edition of the Campeonato Brasiliense, the main division of soccer of the Federal District (Brazil). The competition, which was organized by the Brasiliense Football Federation, was played between January 30 and May 7 by twelve teams from DF, Goiás and Minas Gerais. The championship awarded two places for the 2018 Copa do Brasil and the 2018 Copa Verde, as well as two places for the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. Regulation The championship was played in four stages: qualifying round, quarter finals, semifinals and final. In the first phase, the twelve teams played each other in first leg games, totaling eleven rounds. The eight teams with the most points scored in the first round advanced to the quarter-finals, while the last two teams were relegated to the second division in 2018. Campeonato Brasiliense is the football league of the Federal District, Brazil. It is organized by the Distrito Federal Football Federation. Teams from other states can be affiliated to the Distrito Federal Football Federation (FFDF) as long as they are located within 200 km from Brasília. Taça Rio, or Rio Trophy, is an annual Rio de Janeiro football tournament. It is the second stage competition of the Campeonato Carioca, the state football championship in Rio de Janeiro. It has been organized since 1982 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Vasco da Gama is the most successful club in the tournament's history, having won the title eleven times. The Taça Guanabara, or Guanabara Cup, is a football tournament organized annually since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation.
