Refik Resmja
Refik Shaban Resmja (1 January 1931 – 6 September 1997) was an Albanian professional footballer. He started his career with Tirana, but shortly after signed with Partizani Tirana where he established himself as one of the greatest players of all time, setting several records and winning 9 trophies. He has also been an Albanian international, winning six caps between 1952 and 1963. During his career, Resmja held only one squad number, 11. For three years he was also the manager of Albania under-21 squad. Early life Resmja was born in Tirana from an ethnic Albanian family and started to play the game at a very young age along with his friends at "Xhamija Sherif" street (modern-day " Ali Demi Street"). Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania. FK Tomori Berat
KF Tomori is an Albanian football club based in the city of Berat. The club's home ground is the Tomori Stadium and they currently participate in the Kategoria e Parë. History The sport of football was introduced to the city of Berat in the early 1910s by students who had completed their studies abroad. They brought back footballs and the rules of the game from their travels which they then passed onto the locals. As early as 1913, amateur neighbourhood teams were formed, such as Çunat e Lumit, Vakëfi, Kalaja and Opinga. In 1923, an artists and sports club was founded in Berat, under the name Tomori, named after the nearby Mount Tomorr. Spartakiad
The Spartakiad (or Spartakiade) was an international sports event that was sponsored by the Soviet Union. Five international Spartakiades were held from 1928 to 1937. Later Spartakiads were organized as national sport events of the Eastern Bloc countries. The games were organised by Red Sport International. Historically the rivalry between KF Tirana and FK Partizani Tirana, Partizani Tirana football clubs, the two biggest in Tirana the capital of Albania, has been followed by many football fans and much spectacle either on the pitch, or on stands between Tirona Fanatics and Guerrils. James Edward McGrory (26 April 1904 – 20 October 1982) was a Scottish footballer who played for Celtic and Clydebank as a forward and then went on to manage Kilmarnock before returning to Celtic as manager after the end of the Second World War. Dixie Dean
William Ralph "Dixie" Dean (22 January 1907 – 1 March 1980) was an English footballer who played as a centre forward. He is regarded as one of the greatest centre-forwards of all time and was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002. Gyula Zsengellér
Gyula Zsengellér (27 December 1915 – 29 March 1999) was a Hungarian footballer who played as a striker. A legend of Újpest FC, he is most famous for his part in taking the Hungarian national team to the 1938 World Cup Final. He was that tournament's second-highest scorer, behind Leonidas of Brazil. His first international cap came on 2 December 1936, when Hungary lost 6–2 against England. In total, he gained 39 caps for his country, scoring 33 goals. This makes him the eighth-highest goalscorer of all-time for the Hungarian national side. Ferenc Deák de Kehida (archaically English: Francis Deak, hr, Franjo Deák; 17 October 180328 January 1876) was a Hungarian statesman and Minister of Justice. Archibald McPherson Stark (December 21, 1897 – May 27, 1985) was a U.S. soccer player who became the dominant player in U.S. leagues during the 1920s and early 1930s.
