Redfield Records
Redfield Records is a German independent label founded in Haan-Gruiten near Düsseldorf in 2001 and now residing in Melle near Osnabrück. In February 2013 the label founded their subsidiary under the name Redfield Digital which distribute only digital music worldwide. The releases ''We Are the Mess'' by Electric Callboy and '' My Longest Way Home'' by Any Given Day marked the first two charting albums released by the label ever. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically use thrash or scream vocals. Some later metalcore bands combine this with clean singing, often during the chorus. Death growls and gang vocals are common. 1990s metalcore bands were inspired by hardcore while later metalcore bands were inspired by melodic death metal bands like At the Gates and In Flames. Face Tomorrow
Face Tomorrow is a Dutch indie rock band. It was formed in 1997, and consists of lead singer Jelle Schrooten, guitarists Aart Steekelenburg and Marc Nolte, bass player Tijs Hop, and drummer Sjoerd van der Knoop. In 2010 Nolte left and was replaced by Ralf Mastwijk. Face Tomorrow first released an EP called ''Live the Dream'' in 2001, but became one of the leading Dutch underground bands after the release of their first album ''For Who You Are'' in 2002. After the band released its second album ''The Closer You Get'' in 2004, Face Tomorrow toured all over Europe and the United States, playing festivals like Lowlands, Pukkelpop, Noorderslag, Bochum Total, Groezrock and Paaspop. The Spicy Effect, commonly referred to as Spicy or Spicy Music, is a Greek independent record label founded in 2009 by songwriter and record producer Phoebus, in association with the investment arm of Nea Tileorasi. Overview After eight years under an exclusive songwriting and record production collaboration with independent record label Heaven Music of ANT1 Group, Phoebus announced on 21 October 2009 via his website that he had left the label, without providing further details. This news was followed by a statement from Despina Vandi that she had also left Heaven Music. The fate of the other artists under Heaven Music's roster with whom Phoebus exclusively collaborated were not disclosed by any of the concerned parties. Shell Beach (band)
Shell Beach is a post-hardcore band from Budapest, Hungary. The band has released two full-length albums and an EP. Shell Beach released their debut album ''Acronycal'' in 2007 on Edge Records. The first new recording, a song titled "The Greatest Skeptic" from their upcoming album, was released online on the band's website in September 2011. We Butter the Bread with Butter (also known as WBTBWB) is a German deathcore band noted for their heavy use of electronic music characteristics. The group was founded in 2007 by guitarist Marcel Neumann and vocalist Tobias Schultka, was signed to Redfield Records, and have released two albums through the label. Textures (band)
Textures were a Dutch progressive metalcore band, formed in 2001. Textures' lineup revolved around founding members Jochem Jacobs, Stef Broks, Bart Hennephof, and bassist Remko Tielemans who joined in 2007. Since 2010, vocalist Daniël de Jongh and keyboardist Uri Dijk have been with the band. Textures first came to the spotlight with their debut album ''Polars'' with Listenable Records which won an Essent Award for "Most Promising Act" in 2004. Texas In July
Texas in July was an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, formed in 2007. They released an EP, ''Salt of the Earth'', and their debut full-length album, ''I Am'', through CI Records. After signing with Equal Vision Records, they released three more studio albums: '' One Reality'' on April 26, 2011; a self-titled album on October 9, 2012; and finally '' Bloodwork'' on September 16, 2014. Scarred By Beauty
Scarred by Beauty was a Danish hardcore band from Copenhagen, Denmark, formed in 2006. The band released their first Demo in 2008 and in 2009 they released their ''We Swim'' EP, which propelled the band forward. Scarred by Beauty won the Talent of the Year award at the Danish Metal Awards 2009 and released their self-financed debut album ''Sutra'' in June 2011. The band has toured Europe several times, including the UK and China. The band has supported many international artists counting The Black Dahlia Murder, I Killed The Prom Queen, Gojira and Meshuggah. In 2011 alone the band completed three European tours and one Danish tour and in 2012 Scarred by Beauty, besides touring Europe and UK, made it all the way to China. Lower Than Atlantis were an English rock band from Watford, Hertfordshire. They formed in 2007 as a hardcore punk band and gradually shifted into a rock sound over five studio albums, their last being 2017's '' Safe in Sound''. Living with Lions is a Canadian pop punk band formed in 2007 in Vancouver. They are currently signed to Black Box Music in Canada and Adeline Records in the United States. John Coffey is a Dutch punk rock/post-hardcore band from Utrecht. John Coffey is influenced by bands such as Refused, Every Time I die, and The Ghost of a Thousand. The band's name is a reference to the character John Coffey from the movie The Green Mile directed by Frank Darabont (based on the serialized novel by Stephen King).
