Ravvel
Nina Sampermans (; born 1993), known professionally as Ravvel, is a Belgian singer and songwriter. She is known for her work with, among others, Broiler (music producers), Broiler, Hooverphonic and Gjon's Tears. Early life and education Sampermans was born in Antwerp in 1993 to a sound engineer and a music teacher. In 2016, she graduated from the Codarts, Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Career Sampermans began her career as a songwriter in 2011. In early 2012, Walter Mannaerts, and she submitted the song "Would You? (Iris song), Would You?" to ''Eurosong (Belgium), Eurosong 2012: Een song voor Iris'', the Belgian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The song was chosen by Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep, VRT to compete in the final, and was ultimately selected to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with 53% of the televote. Broiler, formerly known as DJ Broiler, is a Norwegian electronic music record producer and DJ duo made up of Mikkel Buxrud Christiansen (born 22 April 1992) and Simen Auke (born 22 April 1991). In 2011, they found online success with their dance tunes consisting of comical elements, but have since focused on professional remixing and music production. Wouter Hardy (; born 3 April 1991), also known by his stage name HRDY, is a Dutch musician, songwriter and producer. He is known for his work with, among others, Duncan Laurence and Gjon's Tears. Career Hardy was born and raised in Boxtel, North Brabant. After graduating from the Rock City Institute in Eindhoven, he moved to Rotterdam to study at the Codarts University for the Arts. During his studies, he joined the band of Sharon Kovacs, with whom he toured through Europe until 2016. In late 2016, Hardy met Duncan Laurence through Sony Music Publishing. Together, they worked on the song "Arcade" for two years. Prior to its public release, the song was internally selected by the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
