Raphael Maitimo
Raphael Guillermo Eduardo Maitimo (born 17 March 1984) is a former footballer who last played for Liga 1 club Barito Putera as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder or centre-forward. Maitimo was born and raised in Rotterdam the Netherlands. His Indonesian roots are from Minangkabau and Moluccan descent. Club career Early career Maitimo started his football career at the age of 6 years old, for club VV Nieuwerkerk in the Netherlands. Already after two years Maitimo was scouted from several professional Dutch clubs, one being Feyenoord where he took his first steps of his professional career. Maitimo spent his whole youth career at Feyenoord Academy. In Feyenoord youth, Maitimo played together with Robin van Persie. Indonesia National Football Team
The Indonesia national football team ( id, Tim nasional sepak bola Indonesia) represents Indonesia in international association football. It was the first Asian team to participate in the FIFA World Cup, particularly in the 1938 edition as Dutch East Indies. Moluccan
Moluccans are the Austronesian-speaking and Papuan-speaking ethnic groups indigenous to the Maluku Islands (also called the Moluccas), Indonesia. Persatuan Sepak Bola Barito Putera, also known as Barito Putera, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The club currently competes in the Liga 1.
