Ramin Rezaian
Ramin Rezaeian Semeskandi ( fa, رامین رضائیان سمسکندی; born 21 March 1990) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Persian Gulf Pro League club Sepahan and the Iran national team. He started his career as a right-back, but he often plays as a winger. Rezaeian was Carlos Queiroz's first choice on the right side of the defense of the Iran men's national team in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification matches. Early life Rezaeian was born in Semes Kandeh-ye Olya, a village in Sari County, Mazanderan. Club career Saba Qom Rezaeian played his entire career for Saba Qom before signing for Rah Ahan in 2013. He made 98 appearances for the club scoring seven goals. Rah Ahan Rezaeian signed a three–year with the Tehran-based club Rah Ahan in 2013. 2023 CAFA Nations Cup
The 2023 CAFA Nations Cup was the first edition of the CAFA Nations Cup, the biennial international men's football championship of Central Asia organized by the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA). The event was held in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan from June 10 to 20. Background The inaugural edition of the senior men's tournament was initially planned to be hosted by Tashkent in October 2018. It was not played out though. In March 2023, it was announced the inaugural edition of the senior men's tournament would commence in June 2023 in Tashkent and Bishkek for the six member associations, along with the addition of two invited guest teams: Russia and an unconfirmed Asian team. 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League
The 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League (formerly known as Iran Pro League) was the 32nd season of Iran's Football League and 14th as Persian Gulf Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Foolad were the defending champions. The season featured 13 teams from the 2013–14 Persian Gulf Cup and three new teams promoted from the 2013–14 Azadegan League: Padideh as champions, Naft Masjed Soleyman and Paykan. Carlos Manuel Brito Leal de Queiroz (; born 1 March 1953) is a Portuguese football coach who currently is the head coach of the Iran national team.
