Rally Hokkaido
The Rally Hokkaido (ラリー北海道), is an international rally racing event held on the island of Hokkaidō in Japan. The rally was first held in 2002 as Japan's entry into the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship and Japan's return to international rallying. In 2004 the rally was promoted to World Championship status as the inaugural Rally Japan. The following year the World and Asia-Pacific rallies were split into separate rallies with both still being held in Hokkaido with Rally Japan as the WRC round, Rally Hokkaido as the APRC round. It has been throughout a Japan Rally Championship event as well. The event has been dominated by Subaru Imprezas with only one win taken by any other manufacturer. Local driver Toshihiro Arai has won his home event six times. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Jan Kopecký
Jan Kopecký (born January 28, 1982) is a professional rally driver from Czech Republic who drives for Škoda Motorsport. He is the 2013 ERC champion, 2018 WRC-2 champion as well as a multiple champion of the Czech Rally Championship Career After beginning his career as a circuit touring cars driver, Kopecký changed to rallysport in 2001, winning the national sprintrally championships at first. In 2004 he won the national classical rally championships and entered the world championships next year. In the 2006 World Rally Championship season he competed with co-driver Filip Schovánek driving a Škoda Fabia WRC. Kopecký won 3 Special Stages, SS18 at the 2006 Rally d'Italia Sardegna and SS9 and SS14 at the 2006 Rallye Deutschland. 2014 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship Season
The 2014 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season was an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship was contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. The championship began in New Zealand on 11 April and concluded in China on 9 November. The Asia Cup sub-championship had been due to continue to a 7 December finish in Thailand, but this event was cancelled. The championship was held over six events with a candidate event included as part of the Asia Cup. A second candidate event in India was scheduled to be held in India but proximity of local parliamentary elections restricted the event's ability to upgrade competitive stages within the timeframe allowed by the early season. Škoda Fabia S2000
The Škoda Fabia S2000 is a Super 2000 rally car built by Škoda Motorsport. It is based upon the Škoda Fabia road car. History It made its début at Rallye Monte Carlo 2009, with factory team Škoda Motorsport and drivers Jan Kopecký and Juho Hänninen. The car appeared as fast as Hänninen was leading until a crash. Biggest success of the Fabia S2000 is Hänninen's IRC title with title in manufacturers for Škoda. Škoda Fabia S2000 won many national and international rally titles. Gaurav Gill is a professional rally driver and an Indian motorsports athlete who competes in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship. The 2013 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship is contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. A new rally was added to the calendar, the first since Rally of Queensland in 2009, in the Thailand Rally. Indian driver Gaurav Gill won the Asian-Pacific championship after many years in the series. Gill won the championship despite his Finnish team mate Esapekka Lappi winning more events. Gill wrapped the title up early as the only rival outside of the Team MRF squad, Subaru driver Sanjay Takle, did not attend the final round at the China Rally. The 2012 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship is contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. Australian driver Chris Atkinson won the championship he narrowly lost the previous year, beating the Proton R3 Rally Team he raced for in 2011. His Škoda Fabia won the Rally of Whangarei as well as his home event the International Rally of Queensland as well as finishing second in New Caledonia, Malaysia and China, building up a lead his 2011 teammate and defending champion Alister McRae could not catch once his Proton Satria Neo started winning at the Malaysian Rally and the season ending China Rally. The 2011 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international Rallying, rally championship sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA. The championship is contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. 2010 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship Season
The 2010 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. With four-time champion Cody Crocker no longer contesting the series, it was expected to be a more open championship, and so it has proven. After five rounds of the series 1999 champion Katsuhiko Taguchi holds a three-point lead over fellow Mitsubishi driver Gaurav Gill. Taguchi won the first event of the series at Malaysia and was first registered competitor home in Japan behind veteran campaigner Toshi Arai (Subaru), but disappointing rallies in New Zealand and Australia left his early lead vulnerable. Gill was second in Malaysia and collected the points for third in Japan. 2009 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship Season
The 2009 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season was an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. Australian Subaru driver Cody Crocker won his fourth successive title, the first driver to do so. Crocker's co-driver, Ben Atkinson likewise wrapped up the co-drivers title. Crocker scored 94 out of a possible 96 points to complete dominate the season. The Pacific Cup, decided over the first three rallies in the season was won by New Zealand pairing, Hayden Paddon and John Kennard. Crocker won the Asia Cup, held over the later four rallies of the season. Crocker's team mate, New Zealand driver Emma Gilmour finished second in the championship, moving past former champion Katsuhiko Taguchi at the final round to become the first woman to finish in the series top three positions.
