Ragga Dee
Ragga Dee, born Daniel Kazibwe, is a Ugandan musician and politician. He contested for mayor of Kampala in the 2016 general elections. Currently, Ragga Dee serves as An Arts Administrator representing Art on the Private Sector Foundation Executive as well as Being Chairman National Culture Forum. Early life and Music Dee was born in 1968 to George William Kyeyune. He started his music career in 1988. His music is an combination of do reggae, ragga, hip-hop, and Lingala. He was Ragga Artist of the Year at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards in 2004 and 2005 and won best video in 2006. He has 18 albums. He gained fame in the early 1990s with hits like ''Bamusakata'' and ''Mukwano'' while part of a group called Da Hommies. He has won the Pearl of Africa Music Award for best Ragga artiste of the year as well as the Best Male Artist of the year and was profiled on BBC. George William Kyeyune
Professor George William Kyeyune (born 1962) is an artist and professor at the Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. He lectures in sculpture and history of African art at the College of Engineering, Design, and Technology – Makerere University, with research interest in contemporary art and metal casting technology. He is also the vicar of the Namirembe Cathedral of the Church of Uganda. Early life Prof. George Kyeyune was born in 1962 into a traditional Ugandan family at Masaka, Kyanamukaka Subcounty in central Uganda. Erias Lukwago
Erias Lukwago Ssalongo (born 11 May 1970), is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He is the lord mayor of the city of Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest metropolitan area in the country. He was first elected to that position on 14 January 2011. He was voted out of office on 25 November 2013 by councillors after a tribunal found him guilty of incompetence and abuse of office. The Kampala Capital City Authority councillors voted 29 to 3 to impeach him. He was re-instated on 28 November 2013 after the high court judge Yasin Nyanzi ordered Kampala minister Frank Tumwebaze to stop the implementation of the tribunal report that paved way for his censure.
