Lolland Municipality
Lolland municipality (on the island of Lolland) is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Sjælland in Denmark. According to ''Municipal And Regional Key Figures'' (www.noegletal.dk) it covers a total area of 885.40 km² (341.85 square miles) and has a population of 40,022 (1 March 2022;45.20 inh./sq.km/117.06/sq.mi.). The western part of Guldborgsund Municipality, the southernmost in Denmark, occupies the eastern part of the island (''Østlolland''). The city hall and the seat of the mayor of Lolland municipality is in Maribo while the largest town is Nakskov. There are 25 members from 1. Lolland

Fehmarn
Fehmarn (, da, Femern; from Old Wagrian Slavic "''Fe More''", meaning "''In the Sea''") is an island in the Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Germany's northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is Germany's third-largest island, after Rügen and Usedom. Emil Vett
Emil Vett (7 November 1843 – 18 February 1911) was a Danish businessman who was a co-founder of Magasin du Nord. Early life and education Vatt was born on 7 November 1843 in Rødby on Lolland, the son of medical doctor Julius Theodor Emil Vett (1808–1869) and Karen Petrine Bjørn (1813–1881). At the age of 14, he became an apprentice in C. B. Christensen's textile shop in Aarhus. He worked in the shop for a total of nine years and ended up heading it for around a year after the owner had fallen ill. After C. B. Christensen's death, Vett worked briefly in Emil Secher's fashion shop. Career In 1868 Vett established Emil Vett & Co. in a partnership with Th. Wessel. In 1876 Vett and Wessel moved the firm to Copenhagen. Over the next years it developed into the largest department store in the country under the name Magasin du Nord. The municipality covered an area of 128 km², and had a total population of 4,049 (2005). Its last mayor was Jytte Frijs, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. Knud Holscher
Knud Helmuth Holscher (born 6 May 1930 in Rødby, Denmark) is a Danish architect and industrial designer. For many years he was a partner in KHR Architects with Svend Axelsson and designed many of their works together. Biography Holscher studied with Erik Christian Sørensen and professor Arne Jacobsen at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, graduating in 1957. He joined the office of Arne Jacobsen in 1960 and moved to England to oversee construction of Jacobsen's St Catherine's College, Oxford in 1962. Holscher was awarded the British Design Award in 1965 and 1966 for work done in collaboration with Alan Tye before accepting a partnership in established Danish architectural office Krohn and Hartvig Rasmussen, later renamed KHRAS. Gutte Eriksen
Gudrum "Gutte" Agnete Tryde Eriksen (20 November 1918 – 8 July 2008) was a Danish ceramist whose works were influenced by the years she spent in Japan studying Asian techniques. It is above all the specially produced glaze which is the distinguishing feature of her undecorated pottery. As a result of both her work and her teaching, she has exerted considerable influence on Danish potters. Biography Born in Rødby on 20 November 1918, Gudrum Agnete Tryde Eriksen was the daughter of the parish priest Erik Eriksen (1870–1947) and Louise Tryde (1876–1966). From 1936, she attended the School of Arts and Crafts where she specialized in ceramics, graduating in 1939. While still studying, she exhibited at the Charlottenborg autumn exhibition in 1938, inspired by old artefacts she had seen in the National Museum. Until 1 January 2007 Ravnsborg was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') on the northwest coast of the island of Lolland in the former Storstrøm County in south Denmark. The municipality, including the islands of Fejø and Femø, covered an area of 198 km², and had a total population of 5,569 (2005). Its last mayor was Stig Vestergård, a member of the Social Democrats (''Socialdemokraterne'') political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Horslunde. Nakskov
Nakskov is a town in south Denmark. It is situated in Lolland municipality in Region Sjælland on the western coast of the island of Lolland. The town has a population of 12,495 (1 January 2022). To the west is Nakskov Fjord, an inlet from the Langeland Belt (''Langelandsbælt'') that runs between the islands of Lolland and Langeland. Nakskov Fjord is a wildlife reserve, known for its bird life. History Nakskov is in the inner part of the Western inlet of Lolland, one of the agriculturally richest of the Danish islands.
