Råå IF is a Swedish or Scanian football club located in Råå, a fishing village at Öresund, that grew to be one of Scandinavia's largest in the late 1800's, south of Helsingborg. They became the Swedish Cup champions in 1948, and the vice champions of the highest league level 1950-51. Background ''Råå Idrottsförening (RIF)'' is a Swedish or Scanian sports club that was established on 25 March 1921 by a group of high school students in a basement in the city district of Helsingborg, Tågaborg. Helsingborg (, , , ) is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. It is the second-largest city in Scania (after Malmö) and ninth-largest in Sweden, with a population of 113,816 (2020). Stattena IF
Stattena IF is a Swedish football club located in Helsingborg. The club played two seasons in the Allsvenskan in 1927–28 and 1929–30. Background The original club Stattena was one of the two clubs which in 1907 formed Helsingborgs IF. The present club was re-formed on 24 March 1922 and the ladies section was added in 1971. The club was founded as a local neighborhood team from the Stattena district in Helsingborg. Originally a village, which was located outside the city (Old Danish place name; Statene, meaning "stand alone", i.e. solitary villages or houses), which probably contributed to the historical, local patriotic rivalry with HIF. Olympia (stadium)
Olympia, sometimes referred to as ''Olympiastadion'' ( en, Olympic Stadium), is a football stadium in Helsingborg, Sweden. It was opened in 1898, but has been rebuilt in 1993, 1997 and 2014–2017, and has a capacity of 17,200 (9,673 seated and about 7,500 ground attendance stands). All stands can be converted into seaters, giving a capacity of around 13,000). It is the home ground of Allsvenskan side Helsingborgs IF. On October 22, 2014 the Helsingborg City Council, who owns Olympia, unanimously voted to renovate and rebuild the stadium. Kálmán Konrád
Kálmán Konrád (23 May 1896 in Bácspalánka – 10 May 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden), an inside right, was one of the best football players in the Kingdom of Hungary in the 1910s, and played on the Hungary national team with his brother, Jenő Konrád. Kálmán, who later played for Austria, coached the Romania national team for five games in the mid-1930s. In 1999, he was listed by World Soccer as one of the 100 greatest players of all-time. Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide.
