Ryu Ji-hyuk
Ryu Ji-hyuk (born 13 January 1994) is a South Korean professional baseball infielder for the Kia Tigers of the KBO League. His major position is shortstop, however, he sometimes plays as second base man and third base man. He graduated from and was selected for the Doosan Bears by a draft in 2012 (2nd draft, 4th round). His back number is No. 8. On June 7, 2020, Hong Gun-hee of the Kia Tigers moved to the Kia Tigers in a one-on-one trade. Infielder
An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. In baseball, batting average (BA) is determined by dividing a player's hits by their total at-bats. Home Run
In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team. A run batted in (RBI; plural RBIs ) is a statistic in baseball and softball that credits a batter for making a play that allows a run to be scored (except in certain situations such as when an error is made on the play). The Doosan Bears ( ko, 두산 베어스) are a South Korean professional baseball team based in Seoul. Founded in 1982, they are a member of the KBO League. Kia Tigers ( ko, KIA 타이거즈) are a South Korean professional baseball team founded in 1982 and based in the southwestern city of Gwangju. Until 2001, they were known as the Haitai Tigers.
