Ryan Brown (conductor)
Ryan Brown (born 1958) is an American classical conductor. Biography and career Ryan Brown was born into a musical family in California: his mother was a pianist, and his father was a pianist and conductor. He benefited from having a number of well-known musicians both staying and playing music in his home. He initially performed as a violinist and chamber musician before starting out as a conductor. He holds degrees from Oberlin, Cincinnati, and the Juilliard School, where he studied the violin under Dorothy DeLay. He studied conducting with Gustav Meier at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. In 1995, Brown founded Les Violons de Lafayette (which later changed its name to Opera Lafayette), and has been music director and conductor ever since. This group, dedicated to the performance of baroque and classical operas, notably French works, has performed at the Kennedy Center, in Washington, D. Papa Roach
Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther. After two EPs, James left and was replaced by Tobin Esperance. The band independently released two more EPs before signing with DreamWorks Records in 1999, subsequently releasing the triple-platinum '' Infest'' in 2000, the gold album ''Lovehatetragedy'' in 2002 and the platinum album '' Getting Away with Murder'' in 2004. A year after ''The Paramour Sessions'', Buckner left in 2007, and was replaced by Tony Palermo. The 5 Browns are a classical piano ensemble consisting of five siblings—two brothers and three sisters. Their repertoire ranges from beloved concert hall staples, such as Igor Stravinsky's ''The Rite of Spring'', Gershwin's ''Rhapsody in Blue'', and Grieg's ''In the Hall of the Mountain King'' to lesser known works like Nico Muhly's '' Edge of the World'' and John Novacek's ''Reflections on Shenandoah''. Ryan Brown (born January 2, 1975) is an American actor, known for his portrayal of Bill Lewis III on ''Guiding Light'' from 1998 to 2001 and Billy Abbott on ''The Young and the Restless'' from 2002 to 2003. He is also the author of the novel ''Play Dead'' which was published in 2010. Biography Education Ryan Brown graduated the University of Oklahoma in 1997, with a degree in film studies. Ryan Brown (born May 2, 1962,''Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1485; May 3, 2002; Page 29 in Lodi, Ohio) is a comic book writer and artist and toy designer best known for his work on ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' and the animated series ''Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa''. Early life Ryan Brown is a 1980 graduate of Norwayne High School, in Creston, Ohio. Career Brown created Ninja April O'Neil in a 1985 pin-up published in the fourth printing of ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' #1. He would later bring his interpretation of the character to the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures'' title published by Archie Comics. Ryan Anthony Brown (born 15 March 1985) is an English former footballer who played as a left-back. Starting his professional career with Port Vale in 2003, he played 44 first-team games before being released shortly after his 20th birthday. He spent a season with Leek Town before he switched to Northwich Victoria. He spent four years with Victoria before switching to Altrincham in 2010. He switched to Stafford Rangers in January 2012 before returning to Leek Town in November 2013. He signed with Kidsgrove Athletic in October 2014.
