Ryan Boatright
Ryan Jamar Boatright (born December 27, 1992) is an American-born naturalized Armenian professional basketball player for BC Avtodor, Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League. He also represents the Armenian national basketball team. He completed his college career at UConn Huskies men's basketball, University of Connecticut in 2015. Boatright was a key player for the Huskies' 2013–14 UConn Huskies men's basketball team, 2013–14 NCAA Championship team, as he earned 2014 NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team honors. High school career Boatright, an Aurora, Illinois native, averaged 31.2 points per game as a senior at East Aurora High School and was named Illinois Mr. Basketball, Illinois Co-Mr. Basketball with Chasson Randle. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga ( en, Hrvatski Telekom Premier League, ), also known as HT Premijer liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. Chasson Randle
Chasson Randle (born February 5, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal. As a senior in 2014–15, he was considered one of the top point guards in the country. Born in Rock Island, Illinois, Randle played basketball for Rock Island High School. High school career Randle was a highly recruited player out of Rock Island High School. He had led his school to its first Illinois state title, and shared Illinois Mr. Basketball honors with East Aurora's Ryan Boatright in 2011. 2013–14 UConn Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 UConn Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Connecticut in the 2013–2014 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Huskies were led by second-year head coach Kevin Ollie. The Huskies split their home games between the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion on the UConn campus in Storrs, Connecticut. The Huskies were members of the American Athletic Conference. One year after being banned from postseason play for sanctions, the Huskies returned to the Final Four, where they defeated the Florida Gators in the national semifinal round and the Kentucky Wildcats in the 2014 National Championship Game. UConn Huskies Men's Basketball
The UConn Huskies men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team of the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, Connecticut. They currently play in the Big East Conference (Big East) and are coached by Dan Hurley. The Armenian national basketball team (, ''Hayastani basketboli azgayin havak'akan'') is the national basketball team representing Armenia. The national team is directed by the Basketball Federation of Armenia. Since 2006, the President of the federation is Hrachya Rostomyan. The 2014 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 68 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball.
