Ryan Aguilar
Ryan Scott Aguilar (born September 11, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican League. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels. After playing college baseball for the University of Arizona, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 31st round of the 2016 MLB draft. Early life Aguilar was born in Yorba Linda, California, on September 11, 1994. He grew up in the Orange County region and frequently went to Angels games, meeting Reggie Jackson during the 2002 American League Division Series. He attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California. After high school, Aguilar played his first two seasons of college baseball at Santa Ana College, where he was named to the All-Orange Empire Conference team as a sophomore. Carolina Mudcats
The Carolina Mudcats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Carolina League and the Single-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Zebulon, North Carolina, a suburb of Raleigh, North Carolina, Raleigh, and play their home games at Five County Stadium. "Mudcats" is Southern slang for catfish. The team began play in 1991 after the Columbus Mudcats relocated from Columbus, Georgia. They were members of the Double-A (baseball), Double-A Southern League (1964–present), Southern League through 2011. The Mudcats were replaced by a Class A-Advanced team of the Carolina League in 2012. This team carried on as an extension of the previous club. Reggie Jackson
Reginald Martinez Jackson (born May 18, 1946) is an American former professional baseball right fielder who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City / Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and California Angels. Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. Jackson was nicknamed "Mr. October" for his clutch hitting in the postseason with the Athletics and the Yankees. He helped Oakland win five consecutive American League West divisional titles, three straight American League pennants and three consecutive World Series titles from 1972 to 1974. The Arizona Complex League Brewers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and a Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and play their home games at American Family Fields of Phoenix. The 2016 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft began on June 9, 2016, to assign amateur baseball players to MLB teams. On-base plus slugging (OPS) is a sabermetric baseball statistic calculated as the sum of a player's on-base percentage and slugging percentage. The ability of a player both to get on base and to hit for power, two important offensive skills, are represented. In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team. Santa Ana College is a public community college in Santa Ana, California. History In 1915, Santa Ana Junior College opened its doors to 25 students as a department of Santa Ana High School. It was the second community college founded in Orange County, behind Fullerton College, and the fourth oldest in all of California.
