Ruth Grützbauch
Ruth Grützbauch (born 3 October 1978) is an Austrian astronomer, planetarium director and science communicator. After earning her doctoral degree in 2007, she conducted extragalactic research until 2013, and worked as an educator and science communicator afterwards. Since 2017, she runs the ''Public Space'' pop-up planetarium. Biography Grützbauch was born as the youngest of six children in the Viennese district of Währing and completed her Matura at a school in Simmering (Vienna), Simmering. In 1996, she began to study astronomy at the University of Vienna and obtained her diploma in 2003. During her subsequent doctorate, she gained international experience at the University of Nottingham in England, the La Specola, Padua, Padua Observatory in Italy, and the La Silla Observatory in Chile. Werner Gruber
Werner Gruber (born 15 March 1970) is an Austrian physicist, author, lecturer, and cabaret artist and is well known from ORF and as a member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Biography Gruber was born in Ostermiething. Gruber grew up in Ansfelden, Upper Austria and graduated in 1999 with a degree in physics from the University of Vienna. He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Vienna. Heinz Oberhummer was an Austrian physicist and skeptic. Biography Heinz Oberhummer was born in Bischofshofen and grew up in Obertauern, Austria. Kabarett
Kabarett (; from French ''cabaret'' = tavern) is satirical revue, a form of cabaret which was developed in France by Rodolphe Salis in 1881 as the ''cabaret artistique''. It was named Le Chat Noir and was centered on political events and satire. It later inspired creation of Kabarett venues in Germany from 1901, with the creation of Berlin's Überbrettl venue and in Austria with the creation of the Jung-Wiener Theater zum lieben Augustin housed in the Theater an der Wien. Celestial mechanics is the branch of astronomy that deals with the motions of objects in outer space. Historically, celestial mechanics applies principles of physics (classical mechanics) to astronomical objects, such as stars and planets, to produce ephemeris data.
