Ruta Gedmintas ( lt, Rūta Gedmintas; ) is a British actress known for her work on television, primarily in ''The Strain'', '' Spooks: Code 9'', '' The Borgias'', ''The Tudors'', ''Lip Service'' and ''His Dark Materials''. Early life Gedmintas was born in Canterbury, Kent, the daughter of a Lithuanian father and an English mother. She grew up in Buckinghamshire and trained at the Drama Centre London under Reuven Adiv. Career Gedmintas appeared in '' Spooks: Code 9'' as Rachel Harris, a former police officer. She has also had guest roles in the BBC's '' Waking the Dead'' and ITV1's ''The Bill''. She also appeared as Elizabeth Blount in Showtime's ''The Tudors.'' ''Do No Harm'' is an American medical drama television series that aired on NBC from January 31 through September 7, 2013. The series follows Dr. Jason Cole as he balances working as a neurosurgeon with suppressing his evil alter ego, Ian Price. ''Do No Harm'' is a modern take on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 1886 novella ''Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde''. The series was panned by critics, and holds a 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. The network placed a series order in May 2012. On November 12, 2012, NBC reduced its episode order for the series from 13 to 12 episodes, due to scheduling conflicts (13 episodes were produced and eventually aired).
