Rusty-Jake Rodriguez
Rusty-Jake Rodriguez (born 24 December 2000) is a professional Austrian darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. In 2017, he was the inaugural winner of the JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) World Championship. Career Rodriguez entered PDC qualifying school in 2017. His best result was getting to the last 64 on day four. This was not good enough to get a PDC tour card. He won a PDC Development Tour event in Germany in 2017, as well as the WDF Europe Cup Youth Pairs Boys with Thomas Langer in the same year. Rusty and his brothers Rowby-John and Roxy-James qualified for the 2017 Austrian Darts Open. This was Rusty's European tour debut. Rusty lost in the second round, while his brothers lost in the first round. Rusty was the first player to win the JDC World Championship in 2017 after he defeated Owen Roelofs 5–4 in legs. The Cazoo UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. Often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts", the UK Open replicates the abolition of seedings, elimination play, and fixtures determined via open draw. The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Cazoo World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London and has been held there since 2008. It is the most prestigious of the PDC's tournaments, with the winner receiving the Sid Waddell Trophy, named in honour of the darts commentator Sid Waddell, who died in 2012. Rowby-John Rodriguez
Rowby-John Rodriguez (born 27 March 1994) is an Austrian professional darts player currently playing in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career In 2010, as a 16-year-old, Rodriguez won the Austrian National Championship by beating Franz Thaler 5–0 in the final. At the second event of Q School in January 2014 he stood one win away from joining the PDC but lost 5–3 to Gerwyn Price. However, after all four events had been played Rodriguez had done enough to finish ninth on the Q School Order of Merit and earn a two-year tour card. His first PDC major was the UK Open where he was knocked out 5–1 by Tony Randall in the first round. In May, Rodriguez reached the final of the PDC World Youth Championship where he lost 6–4 to Keegan Brown at the O2 Arena in London as part of the Premier League finals night. Chris Dobey (born 31 May 1990) is an English professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career His first major TV appearance came in the 2015 UK Open where he lost 5–1 in the first round to Nathan Aspinall. At the 11th Players Championship of the year he had deciding leg victories over Jan Dekker, Kim Huybrechts and Max Hopp to reach the last 16 of a PDC event for the first time, where he was defeated 6–2 by Mark Webster. Dobey qualified for the 2015 World Series of Darts Finals and lost in a last leg decider to Terry Jenkins. Terry Temple
Terence "Terry" Temple (born 16 August 1961 from Yorkshire) is an English professional darts player he currently playing in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. He has come through Qualifying School to earn a place on the PDC three times and is exempt to play events until the end of the 2017 season. Career Temple made his television debut at the 2012 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. He lost out 6–9 to Simon Whitlock in the last 64, earning himself £1,000 in the process. Temple's best result of 2012 came in the UK Open Qualifier 4 at the Barnsley Metrodome, defeating the likes of reigning world champion Adrian Lewis before losing 2–6 to Dean Winstanley in the quarter-finals. The 2017 Austrian Darts Open was the seventh of twelve PDC European Tour events on the 2017 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Multiversum Schwechat, Vienna, Austria between 23–25 June 2017. It featured a field of 48 players and £135,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Phil Taylor was the defending champion after defeating Michael Smith 6–4 in the final of the 2016 tournament, but he decided not to participate in the tournament in 2017.
