Russian Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
The Russian Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships (russian: Первенство России по художественной гимнастике) are organized annually by the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. Competitors are divided into the following two age categories: juniors (russian: юниорки, 13–15 years old) and girls (девочки, 9–12). (As of 2020, age 13 to 15 years corresponds to birth years 2005 to 2007, and age 11 to 12 years corresponds to birth years 2008 to 2009.) Juniors perform routines corresponding to the Candidate for Master of Sports (CMS) skill level, girls performs routines corresponding to the First Class skill level. Some events can be held simultaneously with the senior nationals. Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation
The Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (russian: Всероссийская федерация художественной гимнастики, lit=All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics) is the governing body of rhythmic gymnastics in Russia. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) barred Russian athletes and officials, including judges. It also announced that "all FIG World Cup and World Challenge Cup events planned to take place in Russia ... are cancelled, and no other FIG events will be allocated to Russia ... until further notice." Aleksandra Sergeyevna Soldatova (russian: link=no, Александра Сергеевна Солдатова; born 1 June 1998) is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 World All-around bronze medalist, 2018 World ribbon champion, the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around champion and the 2016 Russian National All-around champion. Daria Sergeyevna Trubnikova (russian: Дарья Сергеевна Трубникова, born 2003) is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European Junior Clubs and Team champion. Anna Sokolova (born 3 May 2004) is a Cypriot rhythmic gymnast of Russian descent. She represents her country at international competitions.
