Runesoft GmbH, stylised as RuneSoft (founded as e.p.i.c. interactive entertainment gmbh), is a German publisher founded in 2000 that ports games to alternative platforms such as Linux, Mac OS X, AmigaOS, MorphOS, and magnussoft ZETA. Alongside their own published games, they also ported '' Software Tycoon'' and '' Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom'' for Linux Game Publishing. Airline Tycoon Deluxe
''Airline Tycoon'' is a business simulation game by Thomas Holz and Robert Kleinert, in which the player must successfully manage an airline. The original was developed by Spellbound Entertainment, and published by Infogrames Deutschland, however, the succeeding versions were published by a variety of publishers. The original ''Airline Tycoon'' was created for Windows, however, the later ''Deluxe'' version was also ported to Linux, Mac OS X, MorphOS, ZETA, iOS and Android. Like other "tycoon" computer games, the objective of the game is to become a tycoon, and in this case, an "Airline Tycoon." This is achieved through the balance of income and expenditures. Linux Game Publishing (sometimes also referred to as LGP) was a software company based in Nottingham in England. It ported, published and sold video games running on Linux operating systems. As well as porting games, LGP also sponsored the development of Grapple, a free software network library for games. As well as acting as a Linux game porter in of themselves, they also functioned as a publisher for other Linux game developers and porters. The company was dissolved on 3 May 2011. History 2001-2012 The company was founded on 5 September 2001 by Michael Simms when the similarly oriented Loki Software filed for bankruptcy. Simms had previously founded the Tux Games retailer a few years earlier, and the collapse of Loki would have gravely affected his available stock. ''The Feeble Files'' is an adventure video game about the adventures of an alien called Feeble. The game is a science fiction comedy, with a similar style of British humour to that of Adventure Soft's previous games, the Simon the Sorcerer series. It was created and released in the UK in 1997 by Adventure Soft. e.p.i.c. interactive (now RuneSoft) created a Mac version in 2001 and an Amiga version in 2002 that were released in Europe.
