Rudolf Miele
Rudolf Miele (4 November 1929 – 19 August 2004) was a German entrepreneur. From 1960 he was acting partner of the household accessory manufacturer Miele. He was born in Gütersloh, Westphalia, the grandson of the Miele founder Carl Miele. Miele ( ; ) is a German manufacturer of high-end domestic appliances and commercial equipment, headquartered in Gütersloh, Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The company was founded in 1899 by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, and has always been a family-owned and family-run company. Gütersloh () is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, in the area of Westphalia and the administrative region of Detmold. Gütersloh is the administrative centre for a district of the same name and has a population of 100,194 people. Geography Gütersloh lies in the Emssandebene, south-west of the Teutoburg Forest and on the north-eastern edge of the Westphalian Basin and has no significant points of elevation.
