Ruby Speaking
''Ruby Speaking'' is a six-part British comedy television series for ITVX made by Yellow Door Productions. It stars Jayde Adams, Katherine Kelly, Sam Swainsbury and Joe Sims. Written by Abigail Wilson, and created by Wilson, with Jayde Adams and Lucy Lumsden, the show is directed by Rosie Gaunt-Mathieson. Synopsis Working in a call-centre called Hellocom in South Bristol, recently single Ruby is popular amongst other staff, but puts others over herself and over a sale as she struggles to keep to the call-centre script. Jayde Adams
Jayde Pricilla Gail Adams (born 26 November 1984) is a British comedian, actress, writer and opera singer from Bristol. She is the winner of the 2014 Funny Women Award. Career Adams started performing stand-up comedy in 2011, following the premature death from an inoperable brain tumour of her sister Jenna, with whom she had danced competitively for 13 years at her aunt's dance school in Bristol. As a child, Adams attended several youth theatre groups in Bristol, including Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre but never formally trained in acting or singing. She moved to Wales in 2004 to study Drama, Theatre and Media at the University of Glamorgan. In 2012 she was nominated by ''Time Out'' magazine as their wildcard for The Hospital Club 100 Awards list of "Most Influential Person in the Arts". Pucklechurch
Pucklechurch is a large village and civil parish in South Gloucestershire, England. It has a current population of about 3000. The village dates back over a thousand years and was once the site of a royal hunting lodge, as it adjoined a large forest. A Royal Air Force station called RAF Pucklechurch existed until 1959, when the site was transferred to HM Prison Service. Geography Bordering at its western boundary the Bristol Semi-Ring Road, the village forms a large eastern cluster of development on a raised area of land in the parish, the northern half of which has 14 listed buildings including the church. All of the main development of the village is on a knoll or escarpment which descends steeply in the west, and in a few places has long views of the Cotswolds east and land in between.
