Ruben Alves (born 9 January 1980) is a French-Portuguese actor, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for '' The Gilded Cage'' which he wrote and directed. Biography Alves was born the son of Portuguese guest workers in Paris. Maison Close is a French television series which premiered on Canal+ on October 4, 2010. The series was developed by Mabrouk El Mechri and is based on a concept created by Jacques Ouaniche.
