Rozovec
Rozovets is a village in Southern Bulgaria, in Brezovo municipality, Plovdiv Province. As of 15 June 2020, the village had a population of 145 inhabitants with a current address there. Geography Rozovets is located 50 kilometers North East away from Plovdiv, in the South foot of the three highest peaks of Sarnena Sredna Gora geographical area. The East border of Rozovets is with Slavyani and Chehlare, and in the South it borders with the area of Zelenikovo. In the South West, it's neighboring village is Babek. Whereas in the South West – Svezhen. The forests around the village have an area of 18,500 decares, while the village's total area encompasses 50,000 decares. Babek, Plovdiv Province
Babek () is a village in Southern Bulgaria, in Municipality Brezovo, Plovdiv Province. The current population count of the village is 42 people as of 2020. Geography Babek is located in Sredna Gora mountain range, north of Svezhen village, and east of Rozovec village. The western neighboring village of Babek is Zlatosel and the southern one is Zelenikovo. The climate and soil conditions are favourable for the cultivation of oil roses and different essential oil crops. History and culture During the Balkan wars, one person from Babek village volunteered in the Bulgarian army during 1912. The majority of the population are Orthodox Christians in terms of religious beliefs. It is believed that the village has been moved a few times in a perimeter between 5 and 7 kilometers. Chehlare
Chehlare, with a former name of Morozovo (09.04.1950 - 23.09.1969), is a village located in Southern Bulgaria, Plovdiv Province, Municipality Brezovo. The permanent population of the village is 58, and the villagers with a current address Chehlare are counted to be 110. Geography Chehlare was first established as a settlement by Bulgarians fleeing from Ottoman soldiers during the Ottoman rule in Bulgaria. The initial name of the village was Morozovo. The village's agriculture is focused around the cultivation of roses. The rose oil played a major part in the village's economical well being even during Ottoman rule. Svezhen
Svezhen ( bg, Свежен) is a village located in southern Bulgaria, in municipality of Brezovo, Plovdiv Province. It is located in the Sredna Gora mountain range. Svezhen is 32 kilometers away from Karlovo and 68 km away from Plovdiv. The latest data for 2020 shows a population of 208 people.
