Rowland Garrett
Rowland G. Garrett (born July 16, 1950) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'6" forward from Canton, Mississippi, Garrett played at Florida State University, and helped lead the Seminoles to the 1972 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship Game, where the team lost to UCLA 81–76.Brian Landman.'72 Seminoles stand proud of their legacy. Gary George Brokaw (born January 11, 1954) is a retired American basketball player and a basketball coach. Playing career Brokaw attended New Brunswick High School. He played collegiately for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, University of Notre Dame. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (18th pick overall) of the 1974 NBA draft. Elmore Smith
Elmore Smith (born May 9, 1949) is an American former professional basketball player born in Macon, Georgia. A 7'0" center from Kentucky State University, he played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1971 to 1979. He was a member of the Buffalo Braves, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Early life Smith was born in Macon, Georgia, and was a graduate of Ballard-Hudson High School in Macon. As a 5-11 high school freshman, he didn't make the team. But after sprouting to 7 feet over the next two years, Smith said, "The principal threatened me: 'If you don't go out for basketball, we're going to kick you off campus.'
