Gary Brokaw
Gary George Brokaw (born January 11, 1954) is a retired American basketball player and a basketball coach. Playing career Brokaw attended New Brunswick High School. He played collegiately for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, University of Notre Dame. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (18th pick overall) of the 1974 NBA draft. He played for the Bucks (1974–76), Cleveland Cavaliers (1976–77) and Buffalo Braves (1977–78) in the National Basketball Association, NBA for 241 games. Sam Mitchell (basketball)
Samuel E. Mitchell Jr. (born September 2, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. Playing at small forward, Mitchell's 18-year professional basketball career spanned three decades, and was most notable for his ten seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA), whom he also coached as an interim for the 2015-16 season. Mitchell coached for the Toronto Raptors 2004 to 2008 as well, winning Coach of the Year Award in 2007. Richard Frederick "Digger" Phelps (born July 4, 1941) is an American former college basketball coach, most notably of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 1971 to 1991. For 20 years, from 1993 to 2014, he served as an analyst on ESPN. He got the nickname "Digger" from his father, who was a mortician in Beacon, New York. The 1976–77 NBA season was the 31st season of the National Basketball Association. The season ended with the Portland Trail Blazers winning their first NBA Championship in franchise history, beating the Philadelphia 76ers in six games in the NBA Finals.
