Rowan Barrett
Rowan Alexander Barrett Sr. (born November 24, 1972) is a Canadian former professional basketball player. At a height of 1.98 m (6'6") tall, he played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. He was the top scorer in the 2002 Israel Basketball Premier League. He currently serves as general manager of the Canadian men's national team. High school career Born in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Barrett attended West Hill Collegiate Institute, where he played high school basketball. College career Barrett played NCAA Division I college basketball at St. John's University, with the St. John's Red Storm, from 1992 to 1996. Professional career Barrett was under contract with the Toronto Raptors (1997 and 1999), and Philadelphia 76ers (1999), but he never played in any NBA regular season games with those teams. Élan Sportif Chalonnais, commonly known as Élan Chalon, is a French professional basketball club that is based in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. The FIBA AmeriCup (previously known as the FIBA Americas Championship) is the Americas Basketball Championship that takes place every four years between national teams of the Western Hemisphere continents. Since FIBA organised the entire Western Hemisphere west of the Atlantic Ocean under one zone, countries from North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America compete in this tournament. Through the 2015 edition, the Americas Championship took place every two years, and was also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and the Summer Olympic Games. Cypriot Basketball League
The Cypriot Basketball Division A is currently the top-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Format At present, six clubs compete in the league. Since the 2016–17 season, the six teams play each other four times during the regular season, with the top 4 teams reaching the play-off semi-finals stage. One team (the last one) at the end of the season is relegated to the second division, whilst one team from the second division is promoted. The play-off semi-finals and the championship winner will be decided after three wins.
