''Rove Live Radio'' was a radio programme starring Rove McManus, Corinne Grant, and Peter Helliar. It ran from 2002 to 2004. It was originally known as ''Saturday Morning Rove'' due to its 10 am - 12 pm Saturday timeslot. It was pre-recorded on the preceding Friday. In 2004 it adopted the name ''Rove Live Radio'', and moved to live on Friday mornings to allow live interaction with talkback callers. Fox FM (call sign: 3FOX) is a commercial FM radio station broadcasting in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on a frequency of 101.9 MHz, and is the flagship station on Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network. The station's transmitter is shared with the ATV-10 transmitter on top of Mount Dandenong. History Fox FM started life at 5PM on 1 August 1980. The station was put together by radio consultant and 1960s/1970s radio personality and programmer Rhett H. Walker, who also acted as first General Manager. This followed a successful stint for Walker as a consultant for Radio 3KZ in 1979. One of Fox FM's original advertising lines was 'Catch the Fox'. John Henry Michael McManus (born 21 January 1974), better known by the stage name Rove McManus, is an Australian triple Gold Logie award-winning comedian, television and radio presenter, producer and media personality. He was the host of the eponymous variety show ''Rove'' and was also the host of the comedy talk show ''Rove LA''. He is the co-owner of the production company Roving Enterprises with business partner Craig Campbell. He hosts '' Whovians'' on the ABC. Corinne Grant
Corinne Grant (born 12 June 1973) is an Australian lawyer, comedian and television presenter. Career After briefly studying as a nurse in Wodonga, Grant started her career as an actor in Melbourne, obtaining a degree in drama. After graduating, she started doing stand-up comedy to overcome her stage fright. Her first major show was as a support act for Merrick Watts. She performed her first solo stand-up show in the bar of the Victoria Hotel in the early 1990s. From 1995 onwards, she appeared on the community television station Channel 31 as a regular on RMITV's ''Under Melbourne Tonight'' hosted by Stephen Hall. In 1999, Grant became a member of the talk show ''Rove Live'' which aired on Channel Ten. She remained on the show until 2005. Peter Jason Matthew Helliar (born 16 June 1975) is an Australian comedian, actor, television, radio presenter, writer, producer and director. He is best known for his work on television as a former regular co-host of '' The Project'' on Network Ten from January 2014 to December 2022, replacing previous presenter Dave Hughes to host alongside Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly and Lisa Wilkinson. Helliar also appeared with Rove McManus as his sidekick on ''The Loft Live'' from 1997 to 1998, on ''Rove'' from 1999 and 2009 and in ''Before the Game'' as alter ego Bryan Strauchan.
