The Route nationale 22 (RN22) is a highway in southern France, connecting l'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre to Pas de la Casa in the Principality of Andorra. On the French side of the border at Pas de la Casa, the RN22 also connects to the Envalira Tunnel (Catalan: Túnel d'Envalira), which is an alternative route into Andorra avoiding the Envalira Pass Port d'Envalira (el. 2408 m.) is a mountain pass in the Pyrenees in Andorra, that connects El Pas de la Casa with the rest of the country. L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre (, literally ''L'Hospitalet near the Andorra''; oc, L'Espitalet) is a commune in the Ariège department of southwestern France. Pas De La Casa
El Pas de la Casa (; french: Le Pas de la Case) is a ski resort (part of the Grandvalira resort), town, and mountain pass in the Encamp parish of Andorra, lying on the border with France. Overview Its name literally translates as "the pass of the house" and refers to the fact that until the early twentieth century there was only a single shepherd's hut overlooking the pass. The pass marks the watershed of the Pyrenees, being the only point in Andorra where water drains into the Atlantic Ocean, and is the source of the Ariège river. At an elevation of it is one of the highest points on the European road network. The pass is bypassed by the Envalira Tunnel. The two main sources of wealth are trade and winter sports. Envalira Tunnel
The Envalira Tunnel ( ca, Túnel d'Envalira) is a tunnel in Andorra that runs between Pas de la Casa near the Andorra-France border and Grau Roig Grau Roig () is a sector of the Grandvalira ski resort in Andorra, located in the parish of Encamp. Envalira Pass
Port d'Envalira (el. 2408 m.) is a mountain pass in the Pyrenees in Andorra, that connects El Pas de la Casa with the rest of the country. It is the highest paved road in the Pyrenees. The climb has been featured several times at the Tour de France and Vuelta a España cycling races. The construction of a toll tunnel to avoid the mountain pass started in 1999 and opened to traffic in 2002. The Route nationale 20 (N20) is a trunk road (Route Nationale (France), nationale) between Paris and the frontier with Spain heading south through the heart of France and passing through the Cathedral City of Orléans and Toulouse. The Route nationale 11, or RN11, is a trunk road ( nationale) in Southwest France between Poitiers and La Rochelle. It is part of European route E611. Reclassification The road has been downgraded along part of its original route and re-numbered the RD611 between Poitiers and Niort.
