Round Towers GAA Clondalkin
Round Towers (Irish: ''Cumann an Chloigthí, Cluain Dolcáin'' ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) associated with the Dublin County Board club based in Clondalkin, County Dublin. The club plays the Gaelic games of Gaelic football, hurling in both men's and women's codes. History In December 1884, one month after the G.A.A. was founded, a group of men gathered in Clondalkin to form a Gaelic Football Club. Among those present were David Molloy, J. Wixted, J. Carroll, J. Keogh, C. Ryder, P. Doran, The Errity Brothers one of whom, Tom, was later to win All-Ireland Senior medals with Dublin in '92', '94, '98, '99 and 1902. Towers won their first competition, the Baltyboys Tournament in 1889. They won their first Dublin Trophy — the Junior League in 1910 with Matt Nolan as captain. Tom Kelly (Gaelic Footballer)
Tom Kelly is a former Gaelic footballer from County Laois. His club is St Joseph's. He usually played at centre back for Laois and in 2003 won an All Stars Award and was part of the Laois team that won the Leinster Senior Football Championship title for the first time since 1946. Kelly twice travelled to Australia for the International Rules Series, where he was Ireland's player of the series in 2005. With St Joseph's, Kelly picked up two Laois Senior Football Championship medals. In January 2011, Kelly was forced to retire due to a neck injury he sustained the year before. The Laois County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Laois) or Laois GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Laois. Hannah Tyrrell
Hannah Tyrrell is an Ireland women's rugby union international. Tyrrell represented Ireland at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup. She was also a member of the Ireland team that won the 2015 Women's Six Nations Championship. Tyrrell is also an Ireland women's rugby sevens international. She has also played two other football codes at a senior level. As a women's association football player, Tyrrell played for St Catherine's in two FAI Women's Cup finals and played for Shamrock Rovers in the Women's National League. Darren Homan
Darren Homan is a former Gaelic footballer from Kilnamanagh, Tallaght. He played for the Dublin county team. Homan retired in 2005 from the Dublin senior football panel after the 2005 quarter-final against Tyrone due to injury. He left Ballyboden St Enda's to join Round Towers in Clondalkin, although it has recently been announced that he will rejoin Ballyboden for next season. Jim Gavin (born 1 July 1971) is an Irish List of Gaelic football managers, Gaelic football manager and former Gaelic football, player.
