Ross Lee
Ross David Lee (born 21 August 1973) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. He is best known for his television shows ''Chute!'' (2007), ''Ross Lees Ghoulies'' (2008), and ''The Pranker'' (2011). TV career Lee's first TV appearance came on the 'Prime Time' segment of Noel's House Party in 1996. He was given 60 seconds of prime time television to do a weather forecast from his bath at home, and the negative reception from the shows studio audience led to fellow Yorkshireman Richard Whiteley being dipped in gunge. Ross Lee's Ghoulies Lee was the host of ''Ross Lee's Ghoulies'', a horror-comedy themed Saturday morning studio-based show which began broadcasting on Sunday 28 September and ended 13 December 2008 on Nickelodeon UK. Leeds
Leeds () is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds district in West Yorkshire, England. It is built around the River Aire and is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It was first launched on 9 February 2003 with programmes targeting 16 to 34-year-olds, covering all genres including animation, comedy, current affairs, and drama series. Hot Chip
Hot Chip are an English synthpop band formed in London in 1995. The group consists of multi-instrumentalists Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke, and Felix Martin. They are occasionally joined by former member Rob Smoughton for live performances and studio recordings. The group primarily produces music in the synth-pop and alternative dance genres, drawing influences from house and disco. Hot Chip began as a bedroom recording project for Taylor and Goddard, who met while students at Elliott School, Putney; their earliest lineup included Smoughton as their drummer. "I Feel Better" is the second single released by Hot Chip from their fourth album, ''One Life Stand''. It was released on 19 April 2010. The song was later remixed with Will Oldham. Music video The video for "I Feel Better", directed by Peter Serafinowicz and starring Ross Lee as the mysterious figure in white, was described by Pitchfork Media as "re-imagningthe British dance pop troupe as a well-manicured and highly choreographed group of dudes ..who get an unexpected visitor or two during a performance before an audience of swooning young ladies." ''Pants-Off Dance-Off'' (''PODO'') is a dance contest that premiered on April 18, 2006 on Fuse. It features stripteasers as they dance while disrobing. Format In each episode, five contestants striptease to a music video, while interviews, soundbites and photos reveal stories about each so-called "pancer". For the first two seasons, the audience selected each episode’s winner by texting their vote. The third season used a format where judges selected the weekly winner. Each episode's winner received $200 and the opportunity to compete in a championship at the end of the season. In October 2009 the show was launched in the UK on MTV's new channel Viva. It was broadcast on Channel 4 from 2002 until 2009 and lampooned popular culture, becoming known for its often surreal, abstract toilet humour.
