Rosie Bentham
Rosie Elizabeth Bentham (born 29 July 2001) is an English actress who has appeared as Gabby Thomas in ''Emmerdale'' since January 2016. Early life and personal life Bentham was born in 2001 to John and Marianne Bentham. Her father was chaplain to the University of Nottingham and canon of Southwell Minster; he died on 6 August 2019 from a pulmonary embolism. Bentham attended The Nottingham Emmanuel School. Bentham supports West Ham United and also her hometown club Nottingham Forest. Career Bentham joined The Television Workshop in 2013, and worked on plays, such as ''Oklahoma!'', ''Fiddler on the Roof'', ''The Sound of Music'' and ''Annie''. Bentham auditioned for ''Emmerdale'' when producers contacted The Television Workshop, and had four callbacks before being offered the part of Gabby Thomas. West Bridgford
West Bridgford () is a town and the administrative centre of the Borough of Rushcliffe, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It lies south of Nottingham city centre, east of Wilford, north of Ruddington and west of Radcliffe-on-Trent; it is also south-west of Colwick and south-east of Beeston, which are on the opposite bank of the River Trent. The town is part of the Nottingham Urban Area and had a population of 36,487 in the 2021 Census. History West Bridgford was founded between 919 and 924, when defences and houses were built at the south end of Trent Bridge. It was established by Edward the Elder to protect Nottingham and the surrounding area against incursions from Danes in the North of England. ''Crackerjack'' is a British children's television series which was initially aired on the BBC Television Service between 14 September 1955 and 21 December 1984 (with no series in 1971). The series was a variety show featuring comedy sketches, singers and quizzes, broadcast live with an audience. ''Crackerjack'' returned in 2020. It was hosted by Sam & Mark, with an exclamation mark added to its original title, and aired on CBBC from 17 January. The second revived series aired from December 2020 to March 2021. ''Lorraine'' is a British breakfast television programme that is broadcast on ITV. Launched on 6 September 2010, it is presented by Lorraine Kelly with Christine Lampard or Ranvir Singh filling in when Kelly is absent, and broadcasts live every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The programme features a variety of showbiz, fashion, health, food, celebrity interviews and competitions.
