Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie (; formerly known as Rosemont and Rosemont—Petite-Patrie) is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1979. Geography The district includes the neighbourhood of Petite-Patrie and the part of Rosemont west of Pie-IX Boulevard. Its whole territory is part of the Montreal Borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie. Lafontaine (; also known as Lafontaine—Rosemont) was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1949 to 1979. This riding was created in 1947 from parts of Hochelaga, St. James and St. Mary ridings. It consisted of a part of the city of Montreal. The riding's name was changed in 1975 to "Lafontaine—Rosemont", and the riding was abolished in 1976 when it was redistributed into Hochelaga, Laurier, Maisonneuve and Rosemont ridings. Nancy Drolet (born August 2, 1973) is a Canadian ice hockey player, international public speaker and philanthropist. She is the daughter of Denis Drolet and Viviane Dubé. Nancy has won 6 gold medals for Canada with the Canadian women's hockey team. Drolet was named Sports Federation Canada Junior Athlete of the Year in 1992. Alexandre Boulerice (; born June 18, 1973) is a Canadian politician who has represented the riding of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie (federal electoral district), Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie in the House of Commons of Canada as a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP) since the 2011 Canadian federal election, 2011 election.
