Dulcify
Dulcify (14 October 1975– 6 November 1979) was a New Zealand-bred Thoroughbred racehorse. His British-bred sire was the 1970 Irish 2,000 Guineas winner, Decies (GB), a grandson of Pharis (FR), the very important French sire whom ''Thoroughbred Heritage'' says is ''considered one of the greatest French-bred runners of the century''. Dulcify's dam was the Australian mare Sweet Candy (AUS), a daughter of 1957 Golden Slipper Stakes winner and Australian Racing Hall of Fame inductee Todman (AUS). He was owned and raced by Colin Hayes, who purchased him for $3,250. Dundeel, or It’s a Dundeel as he is known in Australia, is a champion New Zealand Thoroughbred racehorse. He is the fifth and most recent winner of the Australian Triple Crown. Tarzino (foaled 29 September 2012) is a retired Thoroughbred racehorse and active sire bred in New Zealand and trained and Australia. He won the Victoria Derby and Rosehill Guineas, both Group One races. He has won over one and a half million dollars. Racing Career Tarzino first raced at Pakenham on 5 July 2015, finishing 3rd and winning $1400. After a trial, Tarzino had his first win on 27 August 2015, coming from 5th at the 400m mark to win by a head. Three weeks later, Tarzino stepped up to 1600 metres at Caulfield, coming from last for a "huge win". On 10 October 2015, Tarzino contested the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas. Gingernuts (foaled 2 October 2013) is a retired New Zealand Thoroughbred racehorse. As a three-year-old, he won the 142nd running of the New Zealand Derby, followed up by a win in the Rosehill Guineas in Australia. At age four, he won the Windsor Park Plate and was second in the Livamol Classic, but then was injured while warming up for the Emirates Stakes. The injury required surgery that eventually prompted his retirement. Background Gingernuts is a chestnut gelding who was bred by Goodwood Stud in Palmerston North. He was produced by Double Elle, a five-time winning daughter of Generous who descends on the female side from New Zealand Oaks winner Devante. Career The Autumn Sun was purchased for $650,000 at the 2016 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale. Olly Koolman of Hermitage said, "We went with the plan to buy a Derby winner. Guy Mulcaster identified him and had him on a shortlist. He was one of the first through the ring on that list and we bought confidently with him." Mo'unga (foaled 20 November 2017) is a New Zealand bred race horse that has won multiple Group 1 races in Australia. Background Bred by Waikato Stud in New Zealand, Mo'unga was sold at the 2019 Karaka Yearling Sale. He was purchased for $325,000 by Aquis Farm and relocated to their property in Queensland, Australia. Racing career Mo'unga contested his first race on the 20 June 2020 at Gold Coast Racecourse in a 2-year-old Maiden race which he one by one length. He was successful in his next two starts at Newcastle and Rosehill before finishing in 7th placing behind Ole Kirk in the Caulfield Guineas. Anamoe (foaled 16 November 2018) is a nine-time Group 1 winning Australian thoroughbred racehorse. Background A homebred for Godolphin, Anamoe is a half-brother to Irish stakes-winner Anamba and is out of the 2007 Australasian Oaks winner Anamato. Tie The Knot
Tie The Knot (foaled 1994 - Died October 2012) was an Australian-bred Thoroughbred racehorse who won 13 Group One races. In 1999-2000, he was voted Australian Champion Stayer and in 2021 was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame. Breeding Tie the Knot was a chestnut gelding sired by Nassipour (USA) from Whisked by Whiskey Road (USA). Nassipour was also the sire of Let's Elope (NZ), who won the Melbourne Cup, Mackinnon Stakes and Caulfield Cup. Tie the Knot was bred and raced by Mr O.P. Tait and Mrs S.S. Nivison. He was a half brother to the stakes winner Dream Ballad by Singspiel (IRE) and eight other named horses.
