Rory Kavanagh
Rory Kavanagh ( ga, Ruairí Ó Caomhánach; born 23 August 1982) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player with St Eunan's and the Donegal county team. He currently manages the St Eunan's club. Alongside Colm McFadden and Christy Toye, he would have been considered one of the experienced members of the Donegal senior football panel in his final days. Kavanagh's haul of Ulster Senior Football Championships was a joint county team record (alongside such past players as Anthony Molloy, Martin McHugh, Joyce McMullan and Donal Reid) for four years until Patrick McBrearty, Neil McGee, Paddy McGrath, Leo McLoone, Frank McGlynn (Gaelic footballer), Frank McGlynn, Michael Murphy (Gaelic footballer), Michael Murphy and Anthony Thompson (Gaelic footballer), Anthony Thompson surpassed it in 2018 Ulster Senior Football Championship, 2018. Letterkenny
Letterkenny ( ga, Leitir Ceanainn , meaning 'hillside of the O'Cannons'), nicknamed 'the Cathedral Town', is the largest and most populous town in County Donegal, a county in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. Leo McLoone
Leo McLoone (born 1989) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Naomh Conaill and also, formerly, the Donegal county team. A versatile player, often employed as a forward, he has been an important source of goals for club and county. McLoone made 109 appearances for his county, winning five Ulster Senior Football Championships and one All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. He was "the last of that famous Naomh Conaill four that also included Anthony Thompson, Dermot Molloy and Marty Boyle" to retire from inter-county football, doing so, as has been his custom, without making a public announcement. Michael Boyle (footballer)
Michael Boyle (born 1986/7) is an Irish sportsperson and Gaelic football coach. He plays with his local club Termon and also, formerly, for the Donegal county team. Educated at St Eunan's College in Letterkenny, he was his county's number one goalkeeper in the past, though Paul Durcan had something to say about that. Boyle has also played soccer for Finn Harps in the League of Ireland. Playing career College Boyle studied Sports Science and Health at Dublin City University (DCU). Boyle won the Sigerson Cup twice in 2010 and 2012 with the DCU GAA team. Gary 'Copper' McFadden (born 1980s) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Glenswilly and also, formerly, for the Donegal county team. He was a panel member when Donegal won the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. He normally plays as a midfielder or half forward. Kevin Rafferty (born 1981) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for St Eunan's and, also formerly, for the Donegal county team (between 2001 and 2012). He played in midfield for his county team. He has also played Saturday League association football for Glencar Celtic since around about 2017. He plays golf too and is a member of Letterkenny Golf Club. Dermot Brick Molloy (born 199?) is a Gaelic footballer who plays forward for Naomh Conaill and also, formerly, for the Donegal county team. With a half-century of appearances for his county, he played for Donegal in two All-Ireland senior finals. Antoin McFadden (born 1989/1990) is an Irish Gaelic football coach and player who has played for St Michael's and the Donegal county team. Pronounced , his forename is derived from the name of Roman great antiquity origin. St Eunan's College
St Eunan's College ( ; ga, Coláiste Adhamhnáin), known locally as The College to distinguish it from the cathedral and GAA club, is a voluntary Roman Catholic all-male secondary day school (and former boarding school) in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located upon Sentry Hill in Letterkenny. Named after Adomnán or Eunan (the Abbot of Iona who was native to Tír Chonaill, mainly modern County Donegal, and is patron saint of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raphoe), the school's foundation stone was laid on the patron saint's feast day of 23 September. Scoil Colmcille, Letterkenny
Scoil Colmcille is a Roman Catholic boys' primary school in County Donegal, Ireland, located on Letterkenny's Convent Road, across from the Loreto Convent. History The school stands on the site of the town's first Gaelic football playing field. It was built in 1974. At the time of the new Scoil Colmcille's opening over 600 boys attended the school. By 1985 school numbers grew to over 700 and 23 teachers were employed. Boys are housed at the rear end of the school and play in the back yard while girls are taught at the front entrance and play in the adjoining yard. 2018 Ulster Senior Football Championship
The 2018 Ulster Senior Football Championship was the 130th instalment of the annual Ulster Senior Football Championship organised by Ulster GAA. It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2018 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. The winners receive The Anglo-Celt Cup. The draw for the championship was made on 19 October 2017.
