Rory Carville (Castleblayney, County Monaghan) is an Irish Michelin star winning head chef formerly with restaurant Locks Brasserie in Dublin. Carville studied at the Killybegs Catering College. L'Ecrivain (, meaning "The Writer") was a restaurant on Lower Baggot Street in Dublin, Ireland, which was awarded one Michelin star from 2003 to 2020. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating "good food at a reasonable price", from 1996 to 1999. Oliver Dunne
Oliver Dunne ( Dublin, 1977) is an Irish chef and restaurant owner. He is the owner of the Michelin starred restaurant Bon Appétit in Malahide, County Dublin. Dunne was a regular guest in the former Irish TV-show The Afternoon Show. Dunne started his career as commis at Gotham Café in Dublin. From there he went on to work at other places, including the Peacock Alley, before he left for London. In London he worked for chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Gary Rhodes. In 2003, Dunne returned to Ireland. He started working as head chef in restaurant ''Zucchini'' in Ranelagh. Within a few weeks, he renamed the place to Mint. The Clarence Hotel is a four-star 51-room hotel located at 6–8 Wellington Quay, Dublin, Ireland. It is in the Temple Bar neighbourhood, on the River Liffey. It was built in 1852, and bought by U2 lead singer Bono and lead guitarist The Edge and their business partners in 1992, and opened after refurbishment in 1996. Sébastien Masi
Sébastien Masi (Clermont-Ferrand, France, 16 July 1974) is a French head chef and Michelin star winning restaurateur with restaurant Locks Brasserie. Masi emigrated to Ireland in 1994 to work and train at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. Later he worked in The Commons Restaurant. Due to head chefs leaving the restaurant, he became the head chef of a Michelin starred restaurant at the age of 22. He was not able to retain the star for 1998. Derry Clarke
Derry Clarke is an Irish celebrity chef, and was the proprietor of the restaurant L'Ecrivain. He has also been a reality television judge, having acted as a judge alongside Bibi Baskin and Sammy Leslie on the RTÉ One reality television series '' Fáilte Towers'', and has appeared on other programmes such as '' The Restaurant'', ''The Afternoon Show'' and '' The Panel'' (in 2008). Career Clarke's professional career began at the age of sixteen years. He started his career in 1972, with Peter Barry, known for The Man Friday. He came back to Dublin in 1977 and worked in Le Coq Hardi in Dublin for four years, under John Howard. He also worked for eight years in Le Bon Appetit in Dublin. Terrence Anthony White (born 3 September 1936) is an Australian pharmacist, businessman, and former politician. White achieved notoriety when, as Queensland state leader of the Liberal Party he terminated the longstanding coalition agreement between the Liberal Party and the National Party of Joh Bjelke-Petersen.
