Ronny Nilsen
Ronny Nilsen (born 7 May 1971 in Ã…sane, Bergen) is a former Norwegian track and field athlete who competed in the javelin. He represented the Hordaland club IL Norna-Salhus. He was a policeman in Oslo for many years, but since 1 September 2008 he is the head of sport of Norges Friidrettsforbund. He took part in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, 2005 World Championships in Helsinki and the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, but failed to get past the qualification rounds. Nilsen has a personal best of , which places him third on the Norwegian all-time list, behind Andreas Thorkildsen and PÃ¥l Arne Fagernes. He competed for the club IL Norna-Salhus. Nilsen is a graduate of the Norwegian Police University College, and for many years worked at the Sentrum politistasjon in Oslo. Åsane is a borough of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The borough makes up the northern part of the city, north of the city centre. Åsane is connected to downtown Bergen by the E16/ E39 highway. The E16 highway continues on through Åsane to the southeast to the neighboring borough of Arna. The E39 highway continues north through Åsane to the Nordhordland Bridge and then on to the northern municipalities in Vestland county. There are plans to shorten the E39 highway through Åsane, including the construction of two tunnels: Eikås Tunnel (start of construction 2010) and the Nyborg Tunnel (still in the planning stages). Sentrum Politistasjon
Sentrum, meaning city-centre, is located on the southeast side of Oslo near the inner Oslofjord. The district is dominated by high rises like Postgirobygget and The Plaza. Oslo's Central Station is located on the eastern side of the borough. Sentrum consists of Bjørvika which has a history as Oslo's main harbour. The area is now being rebuilt with modern high rises consisting of the Barcode and also several student apartments, schools and museums. Sentrum is not a borough with an administration. The Norwegian Police University College ( no, Politihøgskolen; PHS) is a public university college located in Oslo, Kongsvinger, Stavern and Bodø, Norway.
