Ronny Berg
Ronny Berg (born 16 April 1970) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Finnmark during the term 2013–2017. In total he met during 7 days of parliamentary session. From 2015 to 2017 he served in Solberg's Cabinet as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. He was also the deputy mayor of Alta. On 31 August 2019, two of Berg's relatives, those being his son Kevin Berg, and his niece Kine Johnsen, died in a helicopter crash in the mountains of Skoddevarre, Alta, Norway. Skoddevarre
Skoddevarre ( se, Skoađđovárri) is a mountain in Alta Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The mountain has several peaks, the tallest of which is located in the east, reaching above sea level. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' states that the highest peak is and is located in the north. Nearby settlements include the village of Kvenvik northwest of the mountain and the town of Alta to the northeast. The European route E6 runs north of the mountain between the settlements. The west wall at Skoddevarre is high and is used for rock climbing. The bedrock consists of sandstone and greenschist. The "Gubben" formation is a pinnacle in the middle of the rock. On 31 August 2019, the mountain was the site of a helicopter crash that killed six people. A memorial is located at the crash site, which was built a year after the accident. 2019 Alta Helicopter Crash
On 31 August 2019, an Airbus AS350 helicopter operated by a contracted Helitrans pilot from Sweden crashed in the mountains of in Alta, Norway, during a sightseeing tour, killing all six people on board. The tour was offered by a local music festival, , who had been providing the service for seven years. The helicopter, registered as LN‑OFU, had recently been delivered and had undergone security checks hours before takeoff. An investigation by the Norwegian Safety Investigation Authority (NSIA) found no technical faults with the machinery, and concluded that LN‑OFU had entered servo transparency; the stresses on the rotors had exceeded the hydraulic servomotor's capacity, causing the controls to lock up.
