Ronda () is a town in the Spanish province of Málaga. It is located about west of the city of Málaga, within the autonomous community of Andalusia. Its population is about 35,000. Ronda is known for its cliff-side location and a deep chasm that carries the Guadalevín River and divides the town. It is now one of the towns and villages that is included in the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. History Around the city are remains of prehistoric settlements dating to the Neolithic Age, including the rock paintings of Cueva de la Pileta. Sella Ronda
The Sellaronda is the ski circuit around the Sella group in Northern Italy. The Sella massif lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. It can be driven around by car crossing the Campolongo Pass, Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, and Gardena Pass. In winter it is possible to ski around the entire massif by using the ''Sellaronda'' ski lift carousel. Also each winter the alpine touring ski ''Sellaronda Skimarathon'' race is held, which leads around the entire Sella and covers 42 km of mountain trails. Skiers are advised to set off before 10am to make sure they complete the circuit before the lifts close, as it can take up to six hours to complete depending on the weather and your ability. Ronda Del Guinardó, Barcelona
Ronda del Guinardó is one of the rondes of Barcelona, somewhere between an inner ring road and a district avenue crossing Guinardó, in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. Basically the same thoroughfare as Travessera de Dalt, or an extension of it, it becomes Ronda del Guinardó around Plaça d'Alfons el Savi. It cuts Guinardó in half and ends at Plaça de Maragall. Ronda de Sant Pere is a thoroughfare in central Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, one of the main roads in the lower side of Dreta de l'Eixample, part of the Eixample district. It runs from the ''Arc de Triomf'', in Passeig de Lluís Companys, through Plaça Urquinaona towards Plaça de Catalunya, where the medieval city walls stood before the construction of Eixample. () are autonomous peasant patrols in rural Peru. The were especially active during the early 1980s in northern Peru and during internal conflict in Peru with the insurgency of the Maoist group Shining Path and the Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement. Origins The were originally formed as a protection force against theft, especially cattle rustling. They developed further as a response to the Shining Path's violence against their local leaders. When Shining Path leader Abimael Guzmán launched his insurgency against the government in 1980, the Peruvian armed forces by and large ignored the threat at the very outset.
