Ron Kass
Ron Kass (March 30, 1935 – October 17, 1986) was an American businessman, recording executive, manager of The Beatles, and film producer. Kass worked with at least four recording companies: Liberty, MGM, Warner Brothers, and Apple Records. Early life Born Ronald Stanley Kashinoff in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his family changed the name to Kass when they moved to California. He attended Fairfax High Schoolin Los Angeles where he played in a band that became Tijuana Brass and then got a degree in accounting from UCLA. Career Kass married his UCLA sweetheart, Anita, and started working for Liberty Records which was directly across from Hollywood High School. He was promoted to overseas manager and eventually president of Liberty. He started working for Apple Records, the label set up by The Beatles, in 1968 and 1969 which was when he divorced Anita. Naked Yoga (film)
''Naked Yoga'' is a short documentary released in 1974 and illustrates the practice of yoga in a natural setting and in the nude. The film includes images of women practicing yoga in Cyprus and in a studio. These visuals are interspersed with images of Eastern art and psychedelic effects. The narrator Alexis Korner relates the practice to Buddhist philosophy. It was shown on television in the UK, however it has not been released to video. This documentary short was nominated for an Oscar in 1975, in the category Best Documentary Short Subject. ''Naked Yoga'' had previously been thought to be a lost film. Ed Carter, documentary curator at the Academy Film Archive, began searching for the film in 2004 and eventually located a Technicolor print of the film with the help of the film's cinematographer, Michael Elphick, in 2011. ''Tattletales'' is an American game show produced by Goodson-Todman Productions in association with Fremantle. The program had two runs on the CBS daytime schedule between February 1974 and June 1984. It was hosted by Bert Convy, with several announcers including Jack Clark, Gene Wood, Johnny Olson and John Harlan providing the voiceover at various times. Wood was the primary announcer during the show's first run, and Olson was announcing during the 1980s. Joan Collins
Dame Joan Henrietta Collins (born 23 May 1933) is an English actress, author and columnist. Collins is the recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, a People's Choice Award, two Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
