Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) was a division of a German media company Bertelsmann before its completion of sale of the majority of its assets to Sony Corporation of America on 1 October 2008. ''In Celebration of Life'' is the second compilation album and seventh album overall by Greek keyboardist and composer Yanni, released on the Private Music label in 1991. Like its predecessor, ''Reflections of Passion'', it consisted mostly of songs taken from Yanni's four previous albums. Unlike ''Reflections of Passion'', it did not include any new material nor any songs from Yanni's debut album, ''Optimystique''. However, it did include one song ("Song for Antarctica") taken from a multi-artist benefit album, ''Polar Shift''. The album peaked at #3 on ''Billboards Top New Age Albums chart and at #60 on the Billboard 200 in the same year. The album was supported by the Revolution in Sound Tour. ''Dare to Dream'' (stylised as ''DARE to dream'') is the eighth studio album by Greek keyboardist and composer Yanni, released in March 1992 on Private Music. The album peaked at No. 2 on ''Billboard's'' Top New Age Albums chart and at No. 32 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart in the same year. It went gold within two months of its release and was nominated for a Grammy. The album was followed by the sell-out, 65-city ''Dare to Dream'' concert tour which challenged audiences "not to be afraid to dream". On the concert tour, Yanni also advised the fans not to let their worries rob them of the joy of life, and encourages them to "dare to dream" - which is, of course, the theme of the album. Yanni says that the title of the album, ''Dare to Dream'', "comes from the realization that, people not only don't go after their dreams but they're actually afraid to dream at all. Background & production In an interview with ''Cymbiosis'', Yanni said that he often spent 12–15 hours a day producing the album. It is a selection of tracks from his five previous studio albums, released between 1980 and 1989, plus three new compositions. Yanni was encouraged to release the album by his then partner, actress Linda Evans. ''Reflections of Passion'' became Yanni's fastest selling and most successful album of his career upon release. A project of the EarthSea Institute, a portion of its proceeds was pledged "to The Cousteau Society and other environmental organizations working to establish Antarctica as a Natural Reserve dedicated to peace and science."
