Roman Kienast
Roman Kienast (born 29 March 1984) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a striker for SC Lockenhaus-Rattersdorf. He is currently also the manager of First Vienna's U-18 squad. Club career Kienast joined the youth team of Rapid Wien at the age of 14. He debuted in the club's first team in 2002. In the next two seasons, he made 24 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga, but was unable to score a goal. In 2004, he was loaned out to SC Rheindorf Altach, then playing in the Austrian Football First League (Austria's second highest professional league). After scoring four goals in six games, he was quickly called back by Rapid. During the rest of the season, he made 21 appearances for the Vienna side, and finally managed to score his first goal in the Bundesliga. Reinhard Kienast
Reinhard Kienast (born 2 September 1959) is a retired Austrian football player who played 14 seasons for Rapid Wien and 13 times for the Austria national football team. Hailing from a genuine Rapid Wien family, he is the younger brother of former Rapid Wien player Wolfgang Kienast and uncle of current Austria international Roman Kienast. Club career A versatile player, Kienast played predominantly in midfield for Rapid, but was also employed in defence or in attack. After his 14 seasons at Rapid, he moved to city rivals Favoritner AC. He finished his career with minor sides Süßenbrunn and SG FavAC Simmering. In 1993/1994 he became assistant-coach at Rapid. Wolfgang is a German male given name traditionally popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The name is a combination of the Old High German words ''wolf'', meaning "wolf", and '' gang'', meaning "path", "journey", "travel". The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2008 or simply Euro 2008, was the 13th UEFA European Championship, a quadrennial football tournament contested by the member nations of UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations). Josef Hickersberger
Josef Hickersberger (born 27 April 1948) is a former professional football player and former coach of the Austria national football team and Austrian club side Rapid Wien. Club career Hickersberger was born in Amstetten, Austria. He started his playing career with Austria Wien, where he was brought in by Ernst Ocwirk in 1966. After six successful seasons he was sold for 2.1 million schillings to Bundesliga side Kickers Offenbach. He later moved on to Fortuna Düsseldorf, then returned to Austria to join SSW Innsbruck and finished his professional career with Rapid Vienna. He continued playing for amateur sides Badener AC, UFC Pama, SV Forchtenstein and WSV Traisen where he took up his first coaching posts.
