Roland Isaacs
Roland Isaacs (born January 16, 1957) is an American former professional stock car racing driver. He was a part-time fixture in the sport from 2001 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 2001 to 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 2005, competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, as well as one race in the Busch Series in 2004 NASCAR Busch Series, 2004. Racing career Isaacs' first stock car start came in the ARCA Permatex SuperCar Series race at Salem Speedway in 1988, where he finished 35th. He then made 3 NASCAR Southeast Series starts, one each in 1995, 1996, and 1997, and all of them at Louisville Motor Speedway. His best finish was 5th in 1996. Isaacs made his Truck debut in 2001 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 2001, with a one-race deal with Troxell Racing. La Grange, Kentucky
La Grange is a home rule-class city in Oldham County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 8,082 at the time of the 2010 U.S. census. It is the seat of its county. An unusual feature of La Grange is the CSX Transportation street-running mainline track on Main Street. Louisville Motor Speedway was a 3/8-mile race track located in Louisville, Kentucky. It was opened in 1988. Louisville Motor Speedway hosted 5 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races from 1995 to 1999. Starting And Parking
Start and park is a term used in auto racing, particularly in NASCAR-sanctioned races, to describe the practice of racing teams starting races but pulling the car off the track after just a few laps in order to collect prize money while avoiding expenses such as replacement tires, engine wear and tear, and hiring a pit crew. The practice has existed due to the relatively high purse for even a back-of-the-pack finish, as well as the high costs of fielding a car for an entire race. While start-and-park entries occasionally act as "field fillers" (a term typically used outside of NASCAR when a small number of teams show up to a racetrack), the practice is criticized in instances when they take spots away from teams intending to run the full race. In some cases, a team will use a start-and-park car to help fund another competitive car in the same or a different series. MacDonald Motorsports (MMS) was a NASCAR team owned by former NASCAR Sprint Cup series driver Randy MacDonald, his mother, Pat MacDonald and his daughter Jenifer MacDonald. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona, near Phoenix. The motorsport track opened in 1964 and currently hosts two NASCAR race weekends annually including the final championship race since 2020.
